SUMMARY: No rain occurred over Kerala. Rain occurred at a few places in Lakshadweep. Minicoy (Lakshadweep) reported 1 cm rainfall. Minimum
temperature fell appreciably in Kollam district and no large change for all other districts. However it was appreciably above normal in Palakkad district, above
normal in Kozhikode, Kannur & Alappuzha districts and remained normal in all other districts. Punalur reported the lowest minimum of 20 oC.

Under the influence of cyclonic circulation over Lakshadweep area & neighbourhood a Low Pressure Area has formed over southeast Arabian Sea and
adjoining southwest Arabian Sea & equatorial Indian Ocean and the associated cyclonic circulation extends upto mid-tropospheric level.

Day 1(22.12.2019) & Day 2(23.12.2019): Squally weather with wind speed reaching 40-50 kmph likely to prevail over central parts of south Arabian
Sea and adjoining equatorial Indian Ocean. Fishermen are advised not to venture into these areas during the mentioned period.
