Hello,
I am Devendra Mahajan ,graduated from VJTI ( B.tech in Mech Engg) 2015 Batch . I was
the part of VJTI Racing Team (Team Motorbreath) from Jan 2013 to July 2014 .During this one
and half year we did two national level project BAJA and SUPRA SAEINDIA, as we all know
we ranked 36th amongst the all participated team all over India in BAJA and Ranked 12th and
also the winner of Business Presentation Award in SUPRA SAEINDIA which was held at
Chennai in July 2014.
What I experienced during those projects was one should be good team player,
hardworking, passionate about knowing new things not necessarily automobile ,Well dedicated
and determined . Team co-ordination is the main key behind any team’s success .One should
give his 100% to his/her team .It’s a big project that requires lot of patience and hardwork .We
come across many ups and downs as we are doing entire things manually so it involves lot of
trial and error method with everything so one should have patience and trust in the team .Things
get sorted gradually with the constant team effort not individually So you should always share
problem with the team don’t get overburden with it . You should be constantly motivated for
such a project that require long duration for completion .Believe me , there’s no such a pleasure
but to see your vehicle running at high speed and deliver high performance Your joy has no limit
when you think that team effort pays off! ! So I emphasize mainly on Team Co-ordination .
Our Team had produced 1st formula style racing car in VJTI for SUPRA SAEINDIA
Competition. Till that time VJTI participated only in BAJA but we decided to participate in
formula event such as SUPRA so as to gain knowledge in the field where along with power
deliverance and traction ,Aerodynamics also plays a role which is entirely different and
interesting to study and application . Another main aspect behind starting this project was to
represent our college at FORMULA STUDENT level in SUPRA SAEINDIA .We did it at
national level, We wish that you should do internationally . I hope that upcoming Teams of
VJTI racing should focus and participate in FSAE .I believe that you all have that potential to
