It is with much enthusiasm that I recommend Eran Kohen Behar for

inclusion in the Stanford University.

I am Eran’s instructor for Piano and Musical Theory lessons during

his three years at my music school. In our lessons, Eran displayed a
level of musicality and technical skills that is quite rare among
same level students. Especially after we started the lessons, he
really improve his listening skills to a very high level. Before the our
lessons, he could not use his voice for singing but he did a lot of
effort to succeed.

His musical understanding and playing is so exquisite that he

completed Associated Board of Royal Scholl of Music (ABRSM)’s
certificate program with an impressive degree. The certificate
examinations consist of four main subjects including pieces, scales
and arpegios, sight-reading and aural test. He has made real
progress in all of these areas and has achieved success. Especially
in the aural test, the most important reason for this to happen is his
patience and discipline. I emphasize this in particular because it
was the weakest area when we started classes and he made a great
progress.

Even during his preparation of university application year, where he

was the most intense, his emphasis on piano showed me, besides
all his academic achievements, how responsible Eran was. I truly
appreciate his passion for music with all my heart.

Eran also uses his musical skills to help schools which are in need
the musical instruments. He gives concerts with charitable
organisations such as Muzist Music, Culture and Education
Association.

In addition to being a very bright and talented student, I believe

that he can make a difference.
