    GROUP ASSIGNMENT – ACW 281 ACCOUNTING INFORMATION SYSTEM

    In a group of 10 – 11 students, you are required to set up company by applying the Accounting
    Information System Knowledge.
    You are either required to prepare a video presentation or class presentation together with a
    written report for this assessment
    Task:
    A) Draft a business proposal by introducing first your business background.
    i. Nature of business
    ii. The setting of the business
    iii. Supplier, customer, location, and whatnot.
    (10 Marks)
    B) Based on your group members, you are required to draft the organizational chart of your
    business.
    (5 Marks)
    C) Based on your business, you are required to discuss the business process in your company.
    i. Revenue
    ii. Expenditure
    iii. Human Resource and Payroll
    iv. Finance
    i. You are required to illustrate your business process by using the SmartLab
    ERP system. You can draft the Data Flow Diagram and Document
    Flowchart to aid your illustration.
    (40 Marks)
    ii. For each business process, you are required to explain the potential threats
    and provide a suggestion for each threat identified.

    D) Professional marks will be awarded on a clear presentation of the written report
