SP3D Common Practice Lab: Creating a Session File

Creating a Session File with a View of a Model:
Create a session file with a view of a portion of the model and save the file on your desktop.

Steps:
1. Start SP3D software by clicking Start > Programs > Intergraph SmartPlant 3D >
SmartPlant 3D.

2. The New dialog box is displayed, and the Empty template is selected by default. Select
any template options other than Empty and click OK.

3. Click Save.
