JONEL: Ladies and Gentlemen, I hope you are in a very good mood this afternoon for I, Joneeeeel,
will be hosting today’s party together with one of the debutant’s best of friends, Ms. Jasmine…
JASMINE: Nonetheless, we greet you a very good afternoon and welcome you to this much
awaited party in celebration of my best friend
JONEL AND JASMINE: Hazylle Raven Rose Manrique Pinto’s Debut Party.
JONEL: We would also like to say muchas gracias to everyone, for gracing this very momentous
occasion of Raven’s life because as they say, you only get to be 18 once." Of course, this party
wouldn’t have been possible without the parents of the debutante, so let’s give a big round of
applause to Mr. and Mrs. Honee Pinto.
JONEL AND JASMINE: Ladies and Gentlemen without further ado, let us all rise and give a
warm round of applause to welcome, our lovely debutante, Hazylle Raven Rose Manrique Pinto.
JONEL: Before everything else, may we request everyone to please stand and feel the presence
of our lord through a prayer to be led by Ms. Allyssa Aliangan.
JASMINE: And now to give a speech and a toast in honor of our beautiful debutante, we would
like to ask Mrs. Honee Pinto for her opening message.
JASMINE: Thank you.
JONEL: Before we proceed to the highlight of the party let us give a big round of applause for an
intermission number of Ms. Allyssa Aliangan.
JONEL: Thank you Allyssa.
THE 18 WISHES
JONEL: 18th birthday marks the end of teenage and the beginning of adulthood. It is a very special
day in everyone's life, because on this, a person cherishes the old moments filled with love, care
and shelter.
JASMINE: But now the person is moving towards adulthood where she will be loaded with
responsibilities and independence of thought and expression. As the debutante receives her 18
roses and wishes let it be a reminder like the life of a rose is beautiful, however, there are thorns
that signify that life isn’t that easy for there are problems to be faced. It is up to her how she will
handle these hurdles with the support of her family and friends.
