Abraham Lincoln, 16th President of the United States

Short Biography: Abraham Lincoln born on February 12, 1809 – April 15, 1865 and born in the U.S. State, Kentucky, he
was an American statesman and lawyer who served as the 16th president of the United States from March 1861 until
his assassination in April 1865, Got shot at the theatre by John Wilkes Booth.
 Answer the following questions:

1.) What are Abraham Lincoln’s contributions/works that influence others?

Abrahama Lincoln held control in the US and led the country to ultimately defeat the confederacy, and his famous
Emancipation Proclamation, he enacted measures to abolish slavery which changed the world by fighting for the
rights of slaves to be free. He believed that the slaves should be free overtime. At first, he believed that the growth of
slavery should be stopped for good, and he believed that slavery had no place in American democracy and even the
whole world.

2.) What are Abraham Lincoln’s character/style in leadership ?

Lincoln was confident in himself and his ability to pull into his inner circle many of his rivals who were his worst
enemies at an earlier time. He was extremely self aware, he understood that he had the guts to have seriuos mood
shifts. And one of his best leadership traits was his sense of integrity and strong belief in his principles. And lastly, his
communication skills were incredible! He was not a slick, or even a great public speaker.

3.) In your opinion, why do you need to influence others in doing good, Explain

Influencing others by doing good is never that easy but at least you should try. Why do we need to? Because in these
days, this world became horrible and it is getting worse each day, and just by teaching them, or so influencing them
by doing good in others and in their surroundings could be a solution , to change someone to be good and kind so
that they could influence others in doing good and we could possibly make the world a better place.
