Highlights of Speech

- Due to the continued incidence of criminality as influenced by illegal drugs and the
rampant transactions of the same and act of terrorism:
o Encourage the revitalization of Barangay at Pulisya Laban sa Krimen through:
1. Mobilization of barangay tanods as force multipliers to help combat
criminalities and to help promote peace and order in communities – this will
strengthen the bond between the Barangay and the PNP.
2. Provide the participants with the necessary information for the creation of a
community –based approach in preventing crimes and the formation of
Neighborhood Watch in the community, this will highlight the following:
i. Understanding Criminality;
ii. Crime Prevention;
iii. Role of the Police and the Community in Crime Prevention
