Role Description (Overview)


The Solutions Lab is an exciting new team in Financial Solutions at Chick-fil-A tasked with helping the
department scale for the future by automating transactional work, creating efficient access to
financial data, and exploring new technologies. A key component of this journey is developing
Robotics Process Automation through the software Blue Prism. The Lead Engineer is a professional
role focused on understanding Blue Prism use cases and creating an automated solution that meets
the needs of the Financial Services Department. This role will be entrusted with stewardship over the
automation design principles within the Automation Center of Excellence. This individual will have an
advanced understanding of system design and coding within Blue Prism as well and stay current on
emerging new technologies to meet business needs. The role requires a skilled problem-solver who
constantly innovates and is able to independently make decisions to solve business problems for the
Financial Services department.

Role Responsibilities

 Leads design of automated solutions in accordance with enterprise leading practices and
design principles
 Manages project scope to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed upon time, cost,
and quality parameters
 Authors and maintains solution design documentation
 Develops efficient, well-structured and scalable automation processes within Blue Prism
 Analyzes and resolves automation software issues where required
 Performs code review on each section of the automated process code
 Identifies and communicates risks associated with process automation candidates
 Provides guidance to junior resources on best practices and development techniques for RPA
processes

Minimum Qualifications
Required years of experience 3
Required education Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Information
Systems Management, Software Engineering,
Accounting and/or Finance
Other required qualifications  A minimum of 6 months hands on
experience programming automation
software
 Experience with standard software
development Lifecyle processes and
change control disciplines
 Knowledge of business process re-
engineering
 Possesses strong communication skills
with the ability to present technical
details to a non-technical audience

Preferred Qualifications
Preferred years of experience 5-7
Preferred education Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Information
Systems Management, Software Engineering,
Accounting and/or Finance
Other preferred qualifications  Formal training and certification in Blue
Prism software
 1-2 years of programming experience in
Blue Prism
 Experience providing production level
and run support
