● Born in Pinehurst, North Carolina on November 6th, 1955
● Raised by his father, Claude C. McRaven, and his mother, Anna
Elizabeth Long
○ His father was a former spitfire fighter pilot in World War II
● Grew up in San Antonio, Texas
○ Two older sisters
● Attended Theodore Roosevelt High School

○ Star member of the school’s track team


Pursuing a
