Good day! It is with great pleasure that I am seeking to secure a secondary teaching
position within your school district. I believe that my instructional abilities, combined with my strong
interpersonal skills and work ethic would greatly benefit your educational program. I have just
achieved my Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education major in English – Cum laude last April 6,
2019 and a LET passer of 2019 examination with 90% of ratings.

In the last year of my college, I was assigned to have my practice teaching both private and
public school. My first shift of internship was in my school Liceo de Cagayan University handling
Grade 10 Junior High School students followed by my second shift that was in Bulua National High
School handling Grade 9 High School students. My five months of internship in the said schools
brought me much learning’s especially in giving instruction and supervision. The seasoned
teachers in LDCU and BNHS taught me how to professionally deal with various situations that
have got something to do with school matters such as dealing with the parents and guardians of
the students as well as working on school activities that involve the out of school community.

In the short period of my stay in both private and public school, I was able to develop my
communication skills and my pedagogy and I believe that it helped me be more prepared to a
greater challenge which is to finally embrace the job of being a full-time educator. Given my ample
training in college, I am confident that I am ready to work and do the responsibilities of a teacher
and I know that your reputed institution can give me an opportunity to continue to develop myself
professionally.

I have come to realize how vital education is in the preparation for young people to achieve
success in all endeavors set before them. I hope to instill a love of learning and a desire for
constant knowledge within each student.
