PART 1 – Executive Summary

PROJECT SCOPE

Developing and implementing ecommerce Chatbot to be launched on Facebook for restaurant. It


will be a very interactive simple to use Chatbot where Facebook users can directly order from the
advertisement on Facebook itself. It will be using AI engine to make sure it is intelligent enough
to make the ordering process simple.

1.1 Module functions

Facebook Page setup


Facebook page will be setup for the restaurant business if it is not setup. It will be setup with all
the company information needed to make sure the Chatbot works

Facebook advertisement setup


Facebook advertisement will be setup with Facebook ad manages if it is not setup. It will be
setup with the companies target market, target segment and the location
 Facebook to Chatbot connectivity
Web widget link up to Facebook messenger button on Facebook advertisement. This will make
sure that visitors are able to click on the messenger button on the advertisement and chat with
the Chatbot. They can communicate and order the goods they are looking for.

Live Chat widget


Live Chat widget will be the platform where the customers will be communicating on the
Chatbot. It will bring all the product information and ordering details for the customers to enter
based on the questions asked by the Chatbot.

Chatbot content creation


Creation of question and replies. It will be multiple choice based system where the process can
be defined by understanding the process flow of the industry and this restaurant.

Ecommerce Shopping on Chatbot


Based on the replies the customer will be taken to place order depending flow as follows
 Welcome message
 Options for placing order address or table reservation
 Option for take away or delivery
 Postal code
 Display address
 Ask for unit number
 Email address
 Phone number
 Display category to click
 Display sub category to display
 Display product list with image
 On click display product details with add button
 Option to add quantity and variant if any
 Ask for more product from the same sub category or category
 Proceed again the process.
 Option to end the order
 Confirm and end the transaction

For Take away


 Ask for the time of pickup
 Ask for email and phone number
 Display category to click
 Display sub category to display
 Display product list
 On click display product details with add button
 Option to add quantity and variant if any
 Ask for more product from the same sub category or category
 Proceed again the process.
 Option to end the order
 Confirm and end the transaction

Ecommerce back end admin


The Chatbot will be integrated with the back end amd in which have all customer information,
product details, order processing and fulfilment.
