performance to the refined elegance of Camry Hybrid.
The result is a car that’s built for driving. The all-new

At the heart of the Camry Hybrid is the all-new Dynamic

Force Engine – a lightweight 2.5 litre engine that takes
hybrid to a new level. Providing plenty of torque at low

uses a combination of direct and port injection to enhance
the exciting, involving driving experience. On top of all

Monitors the road signs ahead and displays
key information such as the current speed

Pre-Collision System with
Pedestrian Detection
Detects other vehicles and pedestrians in
the road ahead. If a collision is judged to
be imminent, the driver is alerted. If the
driver fails to brake in time the brakes
automatically engage.
Full-range Adaptive Cruise Control
Enables the car to maintain a constant speed
without the use of the accelerator pedal. If
this distance falls, the system reduces speed
to preserve the distance between the car
and the vehicle ahead.
Automatic High Beam
Detects the lights of oncoming vehicles and
traffic ahead while monitoring the brightness
of streetlights to allow automatic switching
between high and low beam for safer night-
time driving.
Lane Departure Alert with Steering Control
Using a camera to detect the lane markings
in the road ahead, this feature will alert the
driver if the vehicle starts to deviate from its
lane. Steering Control applies corrective force
in the case of unintentional lane departure.

compared to our 2010 levels. To achieve

To minimise water usage, we have started
to collect rainwater at our manufacturing
plants. We have also developed purification
methods so that the water we do use can
either be used again or returned safely into
the local supply.
