O&M PRICE CURVES

These price curves shall only be used internally within Power Plants and Services, and can not be
distributed to customers or outside of Wärtsilä.

The price curves can be used as a general O&M estimate before having sufficient information
about the project details, like location, exact scope, environmental requirements, load profile etc.

When these O&M estimates are used, it has to be made clear to the customer that they are only
indicative and based on certain assumptions and exclusions that may not be correct.

When project specific details are available, Services Sales shall be informed and a proper price
estimate can be done.

Assumptions

Prices are based on Wärtsilä Standard Power Plants* and the assumptions below
*Wärtsilä standard Power Plants = Plants built with standard modules without any changes (QQ
default configuration) and layouts according to Power Plants’ “Standard layouts”.

General Assumptions:

- Output at generator terminals, no de-rating, 100% load.


- Baseload = 8000 running hours per engine per year
- Intermediate load = 4000 running hours per engine per year
- Freight for parts (DAP Major port, Incoterms 2010)
- Excluding all taxes and duties
- Euro currency
- Pricing according to general guidelines
Country cost levels

Country cost level:

The price curves can be divided into three different cost areas:

High - stands for countries where O&M costs are high.


High cost countries are e.g.: Most countries in Africa, High risk countries

Mid - stands for countries where O&M costs are mid range.
Mid cost countries are e.g.: Europe, Asia, Americas, most countries in Middle East

Low - stands for countries where O&M costs are low.


Low cost countries are e.g.: India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, South East Asia

Note! Oil&Gas and Nuclear installations are not considered in these price curves
Standard O&M Scope
Items included in the total O&M fee:
- All scheduled spare parts for the generating sets and auxiliary equipment
- Additional Service personnel needed for performing major overhauls on the generating set and
auxiliary equipment
- Freight for parts (DAP Major port, Incoterms 2010)
- Unscheduled maintenance reservations for the generating set and auxiliary equipment
- Unscheduled breakdowns capped to 30,000-50,000 € per event
- Fuel and lube oil analysis
- Salaries for employed personnel
- Administrative expenses
- Safety equipment
- Transportation
- Contracted services

Excluded items:
- Inland transportation
- Machinery breakdown insurance
- Building, janitorial and grounds maintenance
- Plant security
- Environmental Services and waste handling
- SCR and Oxidation catalysts
- Fuel and Lube Oil
- Mobilization (Safety and exchange parts, workshop tools, pre-commissioning salaries, training)
