Tubular Screw Feeders
We specialize in design, manufacture and
supply of high efficiency Screw Feeders &
Conveyors for conveying/feeding various
powders like Cement, Fly Ash, Micro Silica,
Ice flakes and other dry powders. These
screws are manufactured with state of the
art technology and machines imported
from Europe.
Salient Features
Continuous flight welded on center pipe
with variety of pitch, anti-wear coating
(For special applications) choice of cylindrical,
rectangular OR ball socket type
inlet or outlet connections with option of
inclination angle adjustable between
0–45 deg and vertical. Available in different
diameters to match the required capacities
& lengths. Our screws are equipped with
hanger bearings, end bearings with
application specific sealing protection, in
line drive mechanism with single or double
stage flange mounted reduction gear box
and TEFC 4 pole sq. cage induction motors
which can be mounted either on inlet or
outlet side.

Eyelets for cables / Cable pipes
Cosben has introduced Eyelets that will be fitted
at the flange for every section. These are for
passing Electrical Cables. This will ensure that
the Electrical cables do not hang down from the
screw causing a safety hazard.
The Eylets are wide enough to accommodate a
PVC Pipe if you decide to lay your cable through it.
PVC Pipes are recommended for running the
cables along the Screw Feeder / Conveyor so
that the cables are protected by some degree
against the weather.
Isolation Limit Switch at the Inspection Hatch
of the Screw Feeder/ Conveyor
The Isolation Limit Switch, cuts off the power to the
Screw Feeder/ Conveyor during inspection checks,
maintenance & servicing. This ensures that there
aren’t any mishaps or accidents while the personnel
is servicing the Screw Feeder / Conveyor.
The switch will be fitted on the 1st inspection hatch
which is the most vulnerable point for Safety failures.
Zero Speed Switch at Endbearing
The Zero Speed Switch at the end bearing allows an
operator to know whether the screw is currently in
operation of not by looking at the signal on his control
panel. This is useful in bigger plants where the screw
may be located away from the control cabin and out
of the line of sight of the operators
Dust Collectors - Top & Ground Mounted
Integral part of any batching plant NOT ONLY
to keep pollution under check BUT ALSO to
recover& recycle the dust/powder material
back into the system. Available with 2 types
of cleaning arrangement – air pulse jet
cleaning OR Vibratory cleaning in SILO TOP
mounting or ground mounted version with
fan, hopper and ducting (client scope) for
cyclic de-dusting of more than 1 silo.

Bin Activators
Bin Activators are used to get a continuous
& regular flow of powder or granular material
stored in Silos and eliminate any discharge
problems.
The Vibrating Bin Activator has a discharge
cone and a vibrating motor(s) is installed at
the bottom of the storage silo.
The outlet of the storage silo converges into
a small opening where material flow problems
arise. Bin Activator eliminates the possibility
of bridging, degradation and segregation of
products in the silo.
