OVERALL CONCLUSION
1. Most of the parents have not completed their studies. Mostly are high school level and some are elementary level. Very few earned a
college degree. There are also vocational level/graduates.
2. Their children’s educational attainment are also alarming because based on the interviews, those children are not interested to study
anymore. Lack of interest was prevalent due to lack of encouragement from the family and lack of financial aid also.
2. Most of their jobs are requiring skills like farming, driving, and ordinary labor. And for women, mostly are housewives. Some have sari-sari
stores.
3. There are mothers who gave birth at an early age. This might have been the reason why they were not able to finish schooling.
4. In some cases, they are related to each other by blood. There is a strong family ties still practiced.
5. One, if not more of them, are tenants. They do not own the land they till and live in. Less production is expected because they are not
encouraged to produce more.
6. Due to poverty, most of the children prefer to look for a job enable to support their family rather than finishing their studies.
7. In some cases, the concerned families have many children.
8. Some of the parents especially the fathers have vices like smoking and drinking that adds up to the expenses of the household. (I’M NOT
SURE OF THIS PO. )

OVERALL SUGGESTION/RECOMMENDATION

1. Knowing that their parents did not complete their studies, the young ones should pursue on finishing a college degree to be able to land for
a high paying and satisfying job. Nowadays, studying in state colleges and universities are free. They should took advantage of it.
2. The students themselves should find inspiration to study hard out of poverty to “graduate” from it. Some are aiming for scholarship, they
might as well aim for this too. Good thing, 4Ps members can avail additional financial aid. They should study well. In turn, bright future is at hand.
3. In order for their children to be motivated to study, parents should encourage their children to go to school by providing them with breakfast
and “baon” like rootcrops and fruits available, especially to the elementary learners.
4. Most women on the list are plain housewives. They could help their family by planting vegetables even camote tops, to add more food to the
family. And to promote healthy living, cooking vegetables daily adding green leafy vegetables will mean a lot. It is much better to be free of charge.
5. To the farmers, they should plant more crops in every season. It could be sold, an additional income for the family. An additional sideline.
6. Livestock raising is also a good source of income. Raising chickens, hogs, goats and cows, etc.
7. Whenever necessary, family planning is needed to minimize childbirth.
8. Shun all vices.
9. Develop a positive mindset. Be a goal-oriented. Practice more patience and be industrious.
10. Trust in God. But couple it with hardwork and determination.
