How HR can effectively promote and spread awareness (building resilient infrastructure,

promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization and foster innovation) in a company.

Seminar and training

The employees cannot see the importance of the build resilient infrastructure, promote
inclusive and sustainable industrialization and foster innovation if they do not understand the
concept behind it. In order for them to grasp the concept, human resources can organize a
seminar for the members of the organisation by inviting a prominent speaker about this matter.
This allow the employees to understand and visualize the importance and things they can do to
contribute in realising the goals. Understanding of the knowledge without apply it into the real
life is such a waste. Hence, by giving a training will strengthen their knowledge and increase
the quality of their works in line with the United Nation’s sustainable development goals.

A platform for innovation and ideas among employees

HR can initiate innovation day in the company to encourage innovation among employees. In
a small organisation, workers spend most of their time deal with many people from different
functions. This situation gives a clear picture to the workers on what they or other team are
working on which can lead to emergence of variety of new perspectives and outlooks in solving
their problems. By having innovation day, employees can voice out their ideas, contribute in
improving the sustainability in the organisation
