“MY HOMETOWN”
My hometown is small but it has everything what people need in order to survive and
live. In our hometown, there is a market, mall, school, etc. We don’t need to go far just to buy
something or to be educated because our hometown already had the things what we need or
the things that people need.
My hometown ten years ago was a very beautiful place to live, the environment is so
comfortable. Our place was very relaxing and refreshing because it was surrounded by trees,
plants and everything was so good in the eyes. And as far as I remembered, I saw a lot of big
butterflies in front of our house and one of my neighbors collected some of it for her project.
The people in our hometown was very amiable, everyone was happy and contented. When I
was a kid, me and my friends/neighbors we’re always playing outdoor games because we
don’t have any gadgets before. There are few houses around our hometown and it makes our
place peaceful, green and clean.
At the present time, my hometown has changed. Now, plants and trees were lesser
because they cut it down and many calamities has passed. There are a lot of structures built.
Our place got a little bit crowded because population increases and there are lot of families
transferred here in our hometown and it made our hometown populated. I now only saw few
kids playing outside because some of them are now having fun in playing computer and
gadgets. Trashes and garbages were thrown anywhere, people lack discipline and it causes
global warming.
My hometown ten years ago is way too different from now. People were overpopulated,
air and water got polluted and sometimes water ran out because of the hot weather, there are
a lot of squatters near the river in Mananga, the road is very busy and traffic, environment got
hotter because of the climate change.
I love everything in my hometown because it is where I was born, grew and molded. It is
where I met beautiful people, where I learn and know about love and feel loved. I love my
hometown and I would love to stay here forever.
