Drawing Basics

1. Always make sure to press the T-square tightly against the side of the Drawing Board or
Drawing Table with your left hand

2. Rest the drawing paper on top of the T-Square


3. Hold the paper in place, let go of the T-Square and tape or clip the paper in place
4. Move the T-Square up and down to check if the T-Square is Parallel to the top of the T-Square
5. Keep pressure on the T-Square. Make sure you have a sharp pencil and draw a line along the
top of the T-Square. This is a horizontal line
6. Rest the Set-square on top of the T-Square. Keep pressure on the T-Square and hold on to
the Set-square at the same time.
7. Draw a line along the edge of the Set-square. This is a vertical line.

8. Rotate each Set-square around so you can get different angles
