Business School Application for Ethical Approval for Taught Degrees

This form should be completed for any research involving primary data collection conducted by students on taught degrees
of the Business School. This procedure particularly aims to minimize ethical issues where the primary data involves human
data and includes human beings and their records (such as medical, genetic, financial, personnel, criminal and test results
including scholastic achievements). Please note that no research may be conducted in the Business School where
participants are children.

A copy of this application will be retained by the School for up to 6 years. The Business School will provide summary
information to University’s Research Ethics Committee (UREC) and will provide further information to UREC as requested.

Brief outline of project This study would try to reveal specific factors which must be

considered by textile companies in Bangladesh for improving job satisfaction , paying

attention on specified factors would not only increase level profits for textile companies

but would also impact on brand image. Though in developing countries like Bangladesh

companies often remain in shortage of finance position, and it stop them from having

competitive edge over rivals, but having pleased and satiated workforce would play a

vital role by attain leading position over rival through exerting their maximum energies

for betterment and development of their companies.

Research aim
To review role of excellent working environment in increasing level of job satisfaction of
workers in textile industry of Bangladesh.

 What are the physical working environments which have capability of adding
towards workers’ job satisfaction in textile industry of Bangladesh?
 To review contribution do supervisors have in the direction of employees’ job
satisfaction textile industry in Bangladesh?
 To look into e major factors for increasing level of job satisfaction of workers
from working environmental perspectives in textile sector of Bangladesh?

the dissertation without their permission

The researcher would use special external hard drive and a USB for data strong, both these devices would be
kept under secure lock.

It is a requirement of the Data Protection Act 1998 that individuals are aware of how information about them is
managed. Tick to confirm participants will be informed of data access and security arrangements.

face to face interviews .
