NOVEMBER 2019 EXAMINATIONS
General Rules for student conduct during examinations

THE FINAL VERSION OF THE TIMETABLE ARE UPLOADED ON THE NUST WEBSITE

FULL TIME, PART TIME AND WINDHOEK DISTANCE STUDENTS MUST WRITE IN WINDHOEK AT THE ENGINEERING BUILDING.
· Please DO NOT WRITE anything on your examination admission letter, ruler, calculator or any other material you are allowed to have in your possession inside the examination venue.
· All students must ensure that they are fully acquainted with the Institution's examination rules printed on the rear cover of the examination books.
· Only valid student cards of 2019 (not IDs OR Drivers' Licenses) and Exam Admission Letters , printed from the Student Kiosk, will be accepted at the examination venues.
· Lost or damaged student cards (student number or photo not clear) must be replaced immediately with new cards at the ICT Department. You will NOT be allowed to sit for the examinations without a clear student card.
· Practical exams will be written in the relevant labs. Students should contact their lecturers for more detail regarding the exact times and labs to be used.
· You are not allowed to have any unauthorized material in your possession inside the examination venue. You only need at least two pens and your Exam Admission letter and Student card inside the venue.
· No books, notes, blank paper, bags, handbags, cell phones, wallets etc. are allowed inside the exam venue. These items must be stored elsewhere before you come to the exam venue.
· The Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST) does not take responsibility for the safekeeping of any items that candidates bring to the venue and cannot be held responsible for damages or lost items.
· Dictionaries and programmable calculators are not allowed inside the exam venue.
· When needed, calculators may be taken inside the examination venue. Only pocket calculators are allowed.
· Ensure that CALCULATOR COVERS ARE REMOVED before you come to the venue. No notes or formulae must be written on calculators. Please check the calculators thoroughly if you borrowed it from someone else
· The removal of parts or pages of the examination books is not allowed. Answer books will not be marked.
· Candidates must be seated at least 30 minutes before the start of the examinations.
· Candidates who arrive late are not allowed extra time.
· AT THE END OF EACH EXAMINATION SESSION, ALL STUDENTS MUST REMAIN SEATED UNTIL ALL EXAMINATION BOOKS ARE COLLECTED BY THE INVIGILATORS. DO NOT REMOVE YOUR ANSW
FROM THE VENUE.

· Results will be released on the Internet and via SMS as from 29 November 2019 from 16:00.
· Hard copies of results will be printed on request only.
· Remarking / Rechecking due date: 10 January 2020.
· Supplementary/2nd opportunity examinations start on 13 January 2020.
