IV. Duties and Responsibilities

Saba Medical (Staff Nurse/Head Nurse)

l Make the daily work schedule of the staff

l Check regularly each department regarding cleanliness and safety

l Coordinates with Medical Director and the management for plan of actions for

the benefit of the company

Surgery Clinic (November 2013- November 2019)

a. Arranging the flow of patient and prioritizing who needs immediate

care and treatment. Informing them when will be their turn to enter the
clinic.

b. Check vital signs and making the environment comfortable for the
patient.

c. Assist physician in delivering care to the patient and administering

treatment such as minor surgery or wound dressing.

d. Ensuring that all lab results are in prior to surgery.

Emergency Room (December 2013-November 2019)

- Start IV line and administer IV fluid and drugs per physicians' order

- Monitor patient's vital signs while admitted

- Extracted blood samples as ordered and sent to laboratory

- Prioritizing patients who needs immediate treatment

- Ushering patient to bed while waiting to be admitted

- Checking patient's condition prior to discharge and instructing them

regarding take home medications and follow up visit with the
physicians

Max Copy Center (Company Nurse) - February 2011- October 2013

 - Check the employees physical condition every month and making
schedule for their regular visit to the company physician.

- I performed first aid to those employees who are injured on site and
accompany them to the hospital for treatment.

- I also coordinate with the insurance company regarding their

insurance.

- It was also my duty to make sure that the working environment is safe.

Visayas Community Medical Center (Staff Nurse)

1. Receives admitted patients from ER or Trans-out patients from ICU and

carried out physician's orders accordingly

2. Observes, reports, assess and record condition and symptoms of patients

8. Cooperates with the charge nurse in promoting and maintaining a clean,

patient

9. Works as well as supervises the nursing aides with regards to patient care
(vital signs taking, intake and output measures, sponge baths, etc.)
