time as any manoeuvre / action to avoid a hazard is completed and handing over officer is fully satisfied that
relieving watch is fully able.

to;
Operational condition of all navigational and safety
equipment being used or likely to be used during the
watch
The errors of the gyro and magnetic compass
The presence and movements of ships insight or
known to be in the vicinity
The conditions and hazards likely to be encountered
during the watch
Identification of shore light, buoys etc.
Any special deck work in progress, in particular
enclosed space entry and Hot Work
Course plotted on the chart
