“He created the moon for Moadim: the sun knows it’s going down”. Tehilim
(Psalms) 104:19

“And it shall come to pass, that from one rosh chodesh to another, and from
one Shabbat to another, all flesh shall come to worship before me. Says
YHWH” Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 66:23.

And YHWH spoke to Moshe, saying (2) speak to the children of Yisrael, and
say to them, the Moadim of YHWH, which you shall proclaim to be miqra
qedoshim, even these are my Moadim (3) Six days shall work be done: but
the seventh day is a Shabbat-shabbaton of rest, a miqra qodesh. You shall do
no work in it: it is the Shabbat of YHWH in all your dwellings. (4) These are
the Moadim of YHWH, even miqra qedoshim, which you shall proclaim in
their appointed times. (5) On the fourteenth day of the first month between
the evenings is YHWH’S Pesach. (6) And on the fifteenth day of the same
month is Chag Hamatzoh to YHWH: Seven days you must eat matzah. (7) In
the first day you shall have a Miqra qodesh: you shall do no laborious work on

Please take note of the Hebrew word “Moadim”. It can also be written as
“Moedim” or “Moed” as singular. Moadim are times of worship, festival or
convocation.
INTRODUCTION:
For everyone who reads the set apart scriptures of the Israelites both
New and Old “Testaments”, a set of commandments called “The Ten
Commandments” is not taken lightly. This is because nearly the whole
66 books are summarized into these Ten Commandments.
Again, everyone who claims to be a serious believer of the words written
in the Old Testament or New Testament or in Both Testaments, make
these Ten Commandments in Exodus 20:1-17 his or her stand-point and
always gives reasons of any action or in action based on the passage.
For the purpose of space, we shall capture one commandment out
of the ten which has a lot to do with this book-‘the day of Sabbath’. In
verses 8-11, the scripture writes ‘
8.Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it set – apart .9.-
You shall labor six days, and do all your works.10-But the
seventh day is a Sabbath day to YHWH your Elohim. You
shall not do any work in it. You, nor your sons, nor your
daughters, your servant, nor your female servant, nor
your livestock, nor your stranger who is within your
gates; 11-for six days YHWH made heaven and earth, the
sea and all that is in it and rest in the seventh day,
therefore YHWH blessed the Sabbath day, and set it
apart.
For every believer of this Hebrew scripture who wants to worship
YHWH, the Creator on the commanded seventh day, there is need to
ask, which day is the first, the second, the third, the fourth, the fifth, the
six and finally the seventh day, so that he or she can do all his or her
work in six days and then rest in the seventh day as commanded by the
Creator.
It is unfortunate that different societies in the world today have
different mighty ones and therefore have different calendars for worship
and work. Since the world has completely become one small village due
to civilization and communication, the calendaring of the week, month
and year have been mixed up to the extent that the Creator’s calendar
has been badly corrupted. We are convinced that He left an excellent
calendar to humans through the scripture He handed over to the Jews
(YAHUDIM) Romans 3:1-3.
The next and probably the final question to resolve the calendar issue
would be, should we ask the Jews to tell us day 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and
Seven which is called The Sabbath?
Very unfortunately again, the Jews (Yahudim) have since dropped the
Creator’s weekly calendar and adopted the worldly corrupted system of
unremitting 7 days weekly calendar.
Therefore, the aim of this book is to bring every fact past and present in
connection with seven days weekly calendar of the set-apart scriptures
of the Jews to the General public and especially to those who desire to
worship on the Sabbath, the seventh day of the week to correct the
mistake made for centuries by innocent Sabbath observers. Please take
note that we are not concluding here that Saturday is not the Sabbath
day but may be it will not always be the Sabbath day.

In our preparation to write this book, we have come across several

arguments for and against Saturday – Saturday Sabbath. One was
written in a Y.E.A NEWSLETTER from Atlanta USA published by
Yahweh’s Evangelical Assembly and edited by a good friend and teacher.
On the column of Questions and Answers, one Mr. Eric was asking this
long question.

“Let’s take a look at nature for a little while. The animals

behave according to their design in the wild to this day. If you
ask any good fisherman or hunter, he will tell you the animals
operate on a moon cycle. Just as Yahweh sets up the moon for
months to mark time, the moon causes the tides, which in turn
create waves and the waves help create wind! This cycle makes
all function in nature, even plants have cycles with the moon.
So my question is shouldn’t we?
We know time is marked from new moon to new moon. Even
His year is marked by a moon. Following this new moon He has
designed the high holy days or feast days. Now, my question
would be, if all Yahweh’s time for all these events are marked
by the new moon, wouldn’t He also use the same events for His
Shabbat?

I am sure you will like to know the answer. Well, the editor for the
Newsletter who is our friend and teacher, being a Saturday – Saturday
Shabbat keeper did not agree with Eric. He came up with the same
faulty fact that “The seventh day Shabbat cycle was begun at the
creation account without any aid or help of the sun or moon.”
He continued to say “As a matter of fact, they were not brought
forth until the fourth day of the creation account.”

Another argument another good friend from Eket put up to support the
counting of week-days from day one of creation was that the sun was
not even created on the first day, she said the writer of that very portion
of the Bible was only repeating that fact that light was created. She said
the sun had already been created on the first day light was made. This
kind of reasoning is what you can call “personal interpretation”.

You can see here that the two different people, one in Africa and
another in USA who believe that the week’s counting of “Sunday-
Saturday” is perfectly correct from day one of creation are saying
different things. This is because they are giving out their personal
interpretations. They are not speaking from one source of knowledge.
One says the sun was created (being the light) on the first day but the
other person says no, that the sun was created on the fourth day. What
does the Bible say in Gen. 1:14?

There are so many of such interpretations forcefully made to make a

point on matters that seem to pose problems of proving themselves to
be truth. Take another example of regarding any “Seventh Day”
expression found in the Bible as being a “Shabbat”. One would
wonder where he or she is being led to if he or she reads the story
about showing to the priests, the plagues on the skin on the seventy day
in Leviticus 13, 14 and Numbers 19 and 31 and others.

Some even move further to the extent of regarding any number of the
day in a moon that had seven as one of its digits to be a Shabbat. (e.g.
the 7th day, or the 17th day, or the 27th day). You would go to the
Bible, open it, read it several times and find no Shabbat attached to the
said 7th or 17th day or 27th day. This is all what you can certainly call
personal interpretations. Therefore, what should we do if a scripture is
quoted to us to prove some facts we never heard or understood in a
particular way before? Don’t you think we should study it ourselves and
prove it like the Berueans?

CHAPTER ONE
TYPES OF CALENDARS
a. SOLAR CALENDAR:
A solar calendar is a calendar whose dates indicate the season or
almost equivalently the position or the apparent position of the
sun in relative to the stars. The Gregorian calendar, widely
accepted as standard in the world is an example of solar calendar.
The oldest solar calendars include the Julian calendar and the
Coptic calendar. They both have a year of 366 days once every 4
years without expansion. So they have a mean year of 365.25
days. As solar calendars became more accurate, they evolve into
two types – Tropical Solar Calendars and Sidereal Solar Calendars.

b. LUNAR CALENDAR:
A lunar calendar is a calendar based upon the monthly cycles of
the moon’s phases (synodic month) in contrast to solar calendars,
whose annual cycles are based only directly upon the solar year. A
purely lunar calendar is also distinguished from a lunisolar
calendar, whose lunar month are brought into alignment with the
solar year through some process of intercalation since each

lunation is approximately 29 days (29 days and 12 hours,

44minute, 3 seconds or 29.530588 days). It is common for the
month of the lunar calendars to alternate between 29 and 30 days.
Lunar years lose around 11 days per year relative to Gregorian
 calendar year because it is only 354 days, 8 hours, 48 minutes, 34
seconds (354.367056 days).

c. LUNISOLAR CALENDAR
A lunisolar calendar is a calendar in many cultures whose date
indicates both moon phase and the time of solar year. If the solar
year is defined as a tropical year, then a lunisolar calendar will
give an indication of the season; if it is taken as sidereal year, then
the calendar will predict the constellation near which the full moon
may occur. As (with) all calendars divide the year into 12 months,
there is an additional requirement that the year has a whole
number of the months. In this case an ordinary year consists of 12
months but every second or third year is an embolismic year,
which adds a thirteenth intercalary embolismic or leap month.
d. Seasonal calendar
The seasonal year is the time between successive recurrences of a
seasonal event such as the flooding of a river, the migration of a
species of bird or the flowering of a species of the plant. The need
for farmers to predict seasonal events led to the development of
the calendar. However variability from year to year of the seasonal
event (due to climate changes or just random variation)make the
seasonal year very hard to measure

CHAPTER 2
RELIGIOUS CALENDARS:
a. Islamic Calendar:
The Islamic or Muslim, or Hijiri calendar is a lunar calendar
consisting of 12 months in a year of 354 or 355 days. It is used in
Muslim countries to determine the proper days of Islamic holidays
and rituals, such as the annual period of fasting and the proper
time of pilgrimage to Mecca. In everyday life of these countries the
Gregorian Calendar is used. Rents, wages etc are paid by the
Gregorian Calendar which is also used for Agriculture if no
traditional solar calendars are used for this purpose like the Berber
calendar or the Coptic calendar, because a lunar calendar is not
suited for agricultural work.

b. Hindu Calendar:
Hindu calendar is a collective term for the various lunisolar
calendars traditionally used in India. They adopt a similar
underlying concept for timekeeping, but differ in their relative
emphasis to moon cycle or the sun cycle and the names of months
and when they consider the New Year to start.
The ancient Hindu calendar is similar in conceptual design to
the Jewish calendar but different from the Gregorian Calendar.

c. Buddhist Calendar:
 The Buddhist Calendar is a set of lunisolar calendars primarily used
in mainland southeast Asian Countries of Cambodia Laos,
Myanmar and Thailand as well as in Sri Lankas and Chinese
populations of Malaysia and Singapore for religious or official
occasions.
While the calendars share a common lineage, they also have minor
but important variations such as intercalation schedules, months
names and numbering, use of cycles, etc. In Thailand, the name
Buddhist Era is a year numbering system shared by the traditional
Thai Lunisolar calendar and by the Thai Solar Calendar.

d. Modern Judaism (Jewish) Calendar:

The Hebrew or Jewish Calendar is a lunisolar calendar used today
and is predominatly for Jewish religious observations. It
determines the dates for Jewish holidays and the appropriate
public reading of Torah portions and daily psalm readings among
many ceremonial uses.
In Israel, it is used for religious purposes, provides a time
frame for agriculture and official calendar for civil purposes,
although the latter. usage has been steadily declining in favour of
the Gregorian Calendar.
The present Hebrew Calendar is the product of Evolution,
including a Babylonian influence.
Until the Tannatic period (approximately 10-220 CE), the calendar
employed a new crescent moon, with an additional month
normally added every two or three years to correct for the
difference between twelve lunar months and the solar year. The
year in which it was added was based on observation of natural
agricultural-related events in Israel.
Through the Amoraic period (200-500CE) and into the
Geonic Period, this system was gradually displaced by the
Mathematical rules used today. The principles and rules were fully
codified by Maimonides in the Mishreh Torah in the 12th Century.
There are additional rules in the Hebrew calendar to prevent
certain holidays from falling on certain days of the week. These
rules are implemented by adding an extra day to or removing
from some months, making those months to either be 30 days or
29 days when it should naturally have been the other way round.
This forceful implementation will be treated separately in chapter
sixteen of this book to evaluate the imperfection and corruption of
the Jewish Calendar.

e. Judaism’s Original Calendar compared with others: Of the four

main religious calendars analyzed above, we can see that three of
them are lunisolar except one; Islamic Calendar.
Our research reveals that most pre-modern calendars are lunisolar
while most modern calendars are solar, based on either the Julian
 or the Gregorian calendars. This is not unconnected with the aim
of setting man free from nature which are the movements of the
luminaries in the heaven (the two great lights mentioned in
Gen.1:14 – Sun and Moon). Any Calendar that uses these two
great lights in counting all of its time periods of days, weeks,
months and years has effectively made the users of such calendar
to obey the Creator’s original instructions in Calendaring.

Looking at the 29 different calendars, only one is seasonal based, 3

Lunar, 9 Solar and 16 are Lunisolar.
Unfortunately many of the Lunisolar based calendars have been
influenced to some degree by the Gregorian Solar calendar, and the
Hebrew calendar is one of them.
Ultimately the originally lunisolar based calendars are gradually
becoming partly lunisolar and partly solar.

CHAPTER 3

MEANING OF TIME AND MEANING OF WEEK

COMPARED
The meaning of “Time” shall help us to ascertain the weekly
calendar if the measurement of the “weeks” resemble that of
time.This is a because Time as defined by most dictionaries has it
that
“it is the indefinite continued progress of existence and events that
occur in apparently irreversible succession from the past through
the present to the future… In concrete terms the summary of it
says “movement plus conjunction of heavenly luminaries”
What is the definition of calendar? “The means of ordering the
year by the designation of spaces of time, such as days, weeks
months and so on” (Jericho march –uninterrupted seven day cycle
is impossible)
From the definition of the calendar it means that
-a day is a space of “time”
-a month is a space of “time”
-a week is a space of “time”

Time therefore is measured from the movement of heavenly

luminaries, which allows us to conclude that
-A day can only be determined by the movement of the luminary
or luminaries in heaven.
-a week can only be determined by the movement of the
luminaries in the heaven.
-A month can only be determined by the movement of the
luminaries in heaven.
- A year can only be determined by the movement of the
luminaries in heaven.

These are precisely the meaning of Gen 1:14

“And elohim said let there be light in the expansion of the sky to
separate the day from the night and let them serve as sign to
mark seasons and days and years”.

Needless to emphasize that

1. When we obey Gen. 1:14 and find out how YHWH’S creation
determines a year is when we shall know how to find Rosh
Hashana(Head of the Year or Teruah)
2. When we obey Gen 1:14 and find out how YHWH’S creation
determines a month, we shall know how to find the true
Rosh Chodesh(Head of Month)
3. When we obey Gen1:14 and find out how YHWH’S creation
determines a day we shall find the beginning and end of a
“Yom” (a day).
4. When we obey Gen 1:14 and find out how YHWH’s creation
determines a week, we shall be able to know the beginning
of the true Sabbath day on the last day of the week.
May be if we begin to consider the idea of using the calendar that uses
both sun and moon mentioned in Gen 1:14, it will help us realize the
truth about Calendar generally and the weekly calendar in particular
which gives us the seventh day Sabbath. The moon is like a big clock
mounted on a high tower where nobody can touch nor reset. Everybody
looks at it (the moon) and sets his or her own time to it. It is the
Creator’s chronometer. Psalms 104:19. “He appointed the moon for
seasons: the sun knows his going down”.
Unfortunately “seasons” here is wrongly interpreted from a
Hebrew word that means – Festival, special time, observation, worship
time, etc. It has nothing to do with climate.

This is why most religious leaders, hunters, fishermen, sailors and many
other professionals who require accuracy of time-keeping with regards
to natural phenomena do not depend on counting days just for counting
sake. They look at the moon and count along with the moon. This is
called “Lunisolar”.

The passage of Psalms 104:19 says YHWH appointed the moon to

indicate these special times because the days which are brought about
by the sun are simple to observe.

CHAPTER 4
WEEKLY CALENDAR HISTORY AND THE EASTER SUNDAY
QUESTION:
The Creator of the universe (YHWH) declared at Sinai. “Remember the
Sabbath day to keep it holy, Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy
work; but the seventh day is the Sabbath of (YHWH) your ELohim…”
Exo.20:8-11,KJV).

Many people in the world today, in response to the call, by (YHWH) to

“remember the Sabbath day”, believe and observe a day commonly
referred to as Saturday as the weekly seventh – day Sabbath. This belief
and practice is based on the calendar in use today (The Gregorian
Calendar), which has seven days a week, and a week starts on Sunday
and ends on Saturday. So, by simple arithmetic, Sunday being the first
day of the week, Saturday is the Seventh!

It may be astounding (to many) that the calendar in use today – the
Gregorian Calendar was brought into use in 1582 by Pope Gregory xiii.
Gregory in order to correct the 1,600 year old Julian Calendar previously
used, had carefully removed 10 days (or made the world to lose 10
days) without affecting the order of days of the Juilian Week. How did
he do it? Thursday 4th October was followed by the next day Friday as
15th October. This correction according to history was necessary because
the Julian Calendar over time was longer than the true solar year. The
Gregorian Calendar is sometimes called the circular calendar. It is not
sacred. It is not the Bible Calendar.

Christians who worship on Sunday base this practice on the belief that
the savior arose from the tomb on Sunday. Jews and some other
Christians who worship on Saturday do so because it is the seventh day
of the week. Both parties base their belief and their practices on an
assumption. The assumption is that because the progression of days
was not changed at the time the Julian Calendar transitioned to the
Gregorian, the modern week therefore is identical to the biblical week.
The facts of the Juilian calendar itself prove this assumption faulty.
A well known adage is that those who forget history are doomed to
repeat the mistakes of history. Likewise, those who have never learned
the facts of calendar history have built an entire belief structure on a
faulty foundation: The assumption is that weeks have cycled
continuously and without interruption ever since creation. This is a fatal
mistake.

The Calendar of the Roman Republic (700 BC-45 BC) was based on
lunar phases (8 days in a week) but by the time of Julius Caesar,
months were completely out of alignment with the seasons. Juilius
Caesar, exercised his right as Pontifex Maximus (High Priest) and
reformed what had become a cumbersome and inaccurate calendar. In
the mid-1stcentury BC Julius Caeser invited Sosignenes, Alexandrian
astronomer to advise him about the reform of the calendar, and
Sosigenes decided that the only practical step was to abandon the lunar
calendar altogether. Months must be arranged on a seasonal basis, and
a tropical (Solar) year was used as in the Egyptian Calendar.
To bring the new calendar into alignment with the seasons required
adding an additional 90 days to the year. This was done in 45 BC
creating a year of 445 days. This year of 445 days is commonly called by
Chronologist- “the year of confusion”. The first puzzle piece in
establishing the truth of the Calendar, is to realize that the Julian week
of 45 B.C. did not look like the Julian week when Pope Gregory Xiii
modified it and thus did not look like the modern Gregorian Week of
today.

The Julian Calendar, like the calendar of the Roman Republic before it,
originally had an eight-day weekly cycle.
The eight-day cycle of the Juilian Calendar was in use at the time of the
Saviour our Messiah. However, the Israelites would not have kept the
seventh-day Sabbath on the eight-day weekly cycle of the Julian
calendar, because it did not conform to the weekly cycle of the Biblical
Week nor did it resemble the modern week in use today.

The decline of the eight-day Roman week was caused by two factors:
 a. The expansion of the Roman Empire which exposed the Romans
to other religions and led in turn to
b. The rise of the cult of Mithraism. The role Mithraism played in
restructuring the Julian week is significant for it was a strong
competitor of early Christianity.
Under these two factors, the Julian week began a century-long
evolutionary process that ended in the week as it is known today. The

It can be seen that Saturday (or dies Saturni-the day of Saturn) was the
very first day of the week not the seventh. As a god of agriculture, he
can be seen in the position of importance holding his symbol, a sickle.
Next on the second day is seen the sun god with rays of light emanating
from his head. Sunday was originally the second day of the week and
was called dies Solis (Day of the Sun) the third was dies Lunce (day of
the Moon-Monday).The moon goddess is shown wearing the horned
crescent moon as a diadem on her head; the rest followed in order dies
Martis (day of mars), dies Mercurii (day of Mercury), dies Jovis (day of
Jupiter) and dies Veneris (day of venus – the seventh day of the
planetary week – which is Friday in today’s Gregorian week).

When the use of the Julian Calendar with the planetary names spread to
Europe, the names of the days dies Martis through dies Veneris were
replaced by Teutonic gods. (Tiw’s day – Tuesday, Wooden’s day –
Wednesday, Thor’s day – Thursday and Friga’s day – Friday)

How did Saturday become 7th and Sunday the first? This became
possible because of Constantine’s 200 years of internal struggle/debate
over which calendar will prevail (the 8 days week of Julian or 7 day
week named after the planets). Constatine, the emperor signed into law
that though the Romans would start using the planetary week calendar
of 7 days, Saturn’s day could not continue to be the first day. Saturday
was important to those pagans who feared Saturn (the god of
agriculture) but to the Romans who worshipped the sun, Sunday was
made to be the first day of the week; Saturday was pumped to the 7th
Position.

SO WHEN IS THE SABBATH?

The Sabbath cannot be on Saturday because originally Saturday was the
1st day of the pagan week dedicated to Saturn-a god of agriculture. The
Sabbath cannot be on Sunday because originally Sunday was the 2nd day
of the pagan week and dedicated to the sun god in Mithraism. Till today
Sunday has no relationship with the resurrection of our Saviour. The
Israelites who handed our Savior to the soldiers never used such
calendars.

The Bible Calendar till today is Luni-solar where all 4 weeks fall inside a
moon cycle and Sabbaths come at the end of each week – 8th of the
moon, 15th of the moon, 22nd of the moon and 29th of the moon. The
first day of every moon is called New Moon Day. It is usually a
celebration day. It is not part of any week. The first workdays of the
weeks are 2nd, 9th, 16th and 23rd. Therefore our Saviour who was killed
and buried on the 14th of Abib, resurrected on the 3rd day being 16th of
Abib, the 1st day of the Biblical week and not Sunday! All Biblical
Sabbaths are lunar-based (Psm. 104:19, Lev.23). Even in the new
heavens and the new earth, days of worship will continue to be lunar-
based (Isa. 66:22-24)

THE EASTER SUNDAY QUESTION:

Emperor Constantine unified the pagan and Christian activities for
political reasons and issued at least six decrees including the
enforcement of Easter Sunday which is a pagan festival to replace the
Passover of the Bible which is commemorated on the 14th of Abib as the
Creator commanded the Israelites. This was the day our savior was
killed as the last and permanent sacrifice for our sins. But the origin of
Easter involves the birth of Semiramis’ illegitimate son, Tammuz.
Semiramis convinced the people that Tammuz was actually Nimrod
reborn (Nimrod was her husband, the grandson of Noah who wanted to
build the tower of Babel). Since the people had been looking for the
promised savior since the beginning of mankind’s society, (Gen.3:15)
they were persuaded by Semiramis to believe that Tammuz was that
Saviour.

In addition to worshipping Tammuz, the people also worshipped

Semiramis as the goddess of fertility. In other cultures she is called
Ishtar, or Asthurand Easter. For Christians, the origin of Easter is simply
the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ (real name Yahshua
Messiah) about 2000 years ago. This is a Fraud and a deadly one.

TRUTH VS ERROR:
1. Passover falls always on a particular day of the week – the 6th day,
on the same month Abib and on the same date of the month –
14thAbib.
Easter though on same week day, floats through March and April
and on different dates.

2. First fruits, the true day of resurrection of our Saviour is always on

the first day of the week 16thAbib of the Biblical week. This is the
3rd day after the savior was killed and buried on the 14th (Lev.
23:11-14).
Those who use the Gregorian Calendar to keep Sabbaths every Saturday
would mark the first fruits, (or wave sheaf) – “the resurrection day” not
minding the 3rd day resurrection or even the faulty 3 days & 3 nights
belief. E.g.In 2013 they marked it 7 days from 14thAbib. In 2015 it was
marked by chance on the correct day, the 3rd day after the death of the
Saviour. In 2018 they were confused. Some kept it on the 15th of Abib
just the next day after 14th while others kept it on the following Sunday
– 8 days later.

After reading the history of the Julian calendar, it is established that

Sunday is not the only day founded upon pagan calendaring. Saturday,
Dies Saturni, the original first day of planetary week is also counterfeit
of the true Seventh day Sabbath. Therefore the conflict between Sunday
keepers and Saturday Sabbath keepers is uncalled for. In order to show
loyalty to the Creator, His Luni-solar calendar must be used to locate his
set apart Sabbath Day. This is the issue; the decision facing everyone on
the planet; whom will ye serve?

Please note that the one in charge is in charge of the calendar. The
calendar you observe dictates the days you worship and keep the
Sabbaths. And finally the days you worship and keep your Sabbaths tell
the universe the mighty one you obey.

CHAPTER 5
GENESIS 1:14 WHAT THE CREATOR IS SAYING:
The Creator in His infinite intelligence decided to create the Universe in
6 stages. One stage in one day. The order in which the Creator created
all things was best for him and for the entire creation.
He started in creating the heaven and the earth where darkness filled
the face of the deep and He completed the first stage in the first day by
providing light. The light He brought to the earth was not the type of
light that was going to regulate the Calendar he had in mind for man.
The Creator’s intent to bring some kind of light other than the one He
was going to use for His calendar may not be fully understood by man.
This is why He clearly stated the functions of the two great lights He
created later on the fourth day of creation.
He says/ said “…let there be lights in the expanse of the sky
to divide the day from the Night and let them be for
signs and for seasons, and for days and years.” Gen. 1:14

The first part of the above statement is the Creator’s command in the
project of creation that the sun and the moon should come into
existence to divide in simple terms the day and night.
The second part of the statement is the explanation on how else the two
lights will be useful for man in work, rest, worship and calendaring.
Unfortunately, the most important Hebrew word that expresses the
usefulness of the moon has been appallingly misinterpreted as season.
That word is “Moed” (H4150)

The definition of this Hebrew word “Moed” which is the same with
(H3259) has the following key words in its definition: appointment,
specifically a festival; conventionally a year,; an assembly; and used as
congregation 150x; the place of meeting; also a signal; solemn 2x;
assembly 4x; feast 23x; appointed 12x, set time 12x; solemnity 4x, days
1x, sign 1x, synagogues 1x

With the above analyses, it is obvious that many who linked the English
word “season” with climate and weather had completely misunderstood
the statement in Gen 1:14.

It is clear that the Creator has appointed them, moon and sun together
(Lunar and solar where the word Lunisolar comes) to be used by man as
His calendar for counting out the appointed times of feast, worship and
other solemn assemblies.
Of the two great lights, the sun, though bigger in size and brighter in
ellumination, it comes everyday regularly and ordinarily for everyone’s
understanding in every 24 hours showing us day and night.
The moon in the other hand has a more complex duty to perform even
though it takes its light from the Sun. This is why the scripture in Psalm
104:19 repeats their functions by saying that the moon was appointed
to indicate these “Moeds” while the sun knows its simple ordinary duty
of when to rise and set.

“Moed” which is misinterpreted “seasons” in Genesis 1:14 is repeated

here in Psalm 104:19. Therefore we have now known for sure that the
Creator gave the moon to humans to observe her signs to count out
worship times and set feasts which include all Sabbaths.

CHAPTER 6
GENESIS 1:14 WHAT HUMANS ARE NOT HEARING
We have read on tracts and seen on websites, how many say that since
the moon was not created on the first day of Creation, using the moon
to count the days of the week and month would be wrong. They insist
that one must go back to “Day One” and begin to count with the
Creator; they claim that the week of 7 days that started in creation has
never been interrupted till today. This is absolutely false given the
different manipulations of the calendars by kings and popes.
Again, to say that we should disregard the use of the moon to
count days of the week because it was made on the fourth day of
creation week would have made a perfect point if we still have days that
look like Day I, Day II and Day III of that creation week. In Day I there
were no plants, no animals, no moon, no sun, no stars, no humans
even. So if we do not have such incomplete (Creation) days today to
number them as Incomplete Day I, Incomplete Day 2, Incomplete Day 3
etc, then let us go to the pages of the scriptures for guidance.

Gen. 1:14-16 clearly states that two great lights were made on Day 4 for
the purpose of marking (counting) days, festivals (Seasons) and years.
The lights created on this fourth day were not like the light the (Creator
brought on the first day of creation. That light was completely a
separate and a special light which can be proved in the scriptures.

In Gen 1:3 “And Elohim said, let there be light (H216) and there was
light” (H216).

In Gen 1:4 “And Elohim saw the Light (H216) that it was good and
Elohim divided the light (H216) from the darkness”.

Gen 1:5 “And Elohim called the light (H216) day, and the darkness he
called night”.

Please take note that all the places in the first day of the week that light
is mentioned, the word’s number is H216 and is different from the
number of the light in Gen 1:14

Gen 1:14 “And ELohim said, let there be lights (H3974) in the firmament
of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for
signs, and for seasons and for days, and years”.

Gen 1:16: “And Elohim made two great Lights (H3974), the greater light
(H3974) to rule the day and the lesser light (H3974) to rule the night:”

We can see here that the light that was made in the first day was called
“Or” in Hebrew word number- H216 contrary to the light or lights of the
sun and moon on the fourth day which is called “Maor” or “Meorah” in
Hebrew word number – H3974
(H216 is like H215 defined as “Illumination or concretely luminary in
every sense including lightening, happiness, bright etc)
(H3974 is also like H215; but properly a luminous body or luminary)

Therefore let every sincere believer accept as we have proven here that
the light that was created on the first day was not the sunlight but a
completely different illumination.
Let us ask, do we not believe that “there shall be no night there, and
they need no candle, neither light of the sun, for the master Elohim
giveth them light and they shall reign for ever and ever” Rev. 22:5:
Again “ And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to
shine in it; for the glory of Elohim did lighten it, and the lamb is the light
thereof “Rev. 21:23.

Is it two difficult to understand that the Creator has many ways to give
light and that there is more light in his intelligence than the light from
the sun and moon? The light of the sun and that of the moon is purely
for time keeping and largely calendaring.

CHAPTER 7

EVIDENCES OF LUNISOLAR CALENDAR OBSERVATION IN

SCRIPTURES.
Using the appearances of the moon to number days in weeks and
months which is the practice originally instituted by the Creator known
today as “Lunisolar” calendaring, has a few but overwhelming evidences
in the scriptures.
Let us begin with lesson 101 of the 7 day weekly calendar Elohim
presented to the Israelites after they left Eygpt on their way to the
Promised Land. We find in Exodus 16: when YHWH rained down manna
from heaven to them from the 16th day of the second moon and told
them to pick the heavenly bread daily for six days. He told them that the
7th day which was 22nd of that moon was the Sabbath. Therefore the
next Sabbath would obviously have been on the 29th. 15th of that very
moon by default was a Sabbath as well as the 8th day when one counts
backward. Therefore the new moon day was a separate worship day
from the Sabbath days and certainly could not have been an official
workday like the six days when work is usually done Amos 8:5-6, 2 kings
4:23, Isaiah 66:23.

Another proof can be seen in John 7, 8 and 9. All the 3 chapters tell a
single story. John 7:2 begins like this; “as the Jewish feast of shelters
drew near, his brothers said to him, leave this place to Judea, so that
your disciples too can see the works you are doing… (10) However, after
his brothers had left for the festival, He went up as well, not publicly but
secretly. (37) on the last day, the great day of the festival, Yahshua
stood and cried out: let anyone who is thirsty…
In verse 53 everyone went home. That is at the end of the 7th day of the
feast which started on the 15th of Ethanim (the 7th moon) – the feast
lasted for 7 days as commanded in Leviticus 23. The days were 15th,
16th, 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st.

John 8:1 continues the story without a full-stop after 7:53

“and Yahshua went to the mount of Olives.” 8:2 “At daybreak (the next
day i.e 22nd of Ethanim) He appeared in the temple again, and all the
people came to him, He sat down and began to teach them”.
From verse 3 of chapter 8, Yahshua taught the people very hard facts
which they could not tolerate. In 8:59 they picked up stones to throw at
Him, but Yahushua hid Himself and left the Temple. In chapter 9 after
leaving the temple, on the way He found a blind man and he healed
him. As the people were looking for something to accuse Him of, they
said He was doing an unlawful thing on the shabbat day. They reported
to the Pharisees that Yahshua Messiah healed a blind man on the
Shabbat. That Shabbat was on the 22nd of Ethanim. It was the third
weekly Shabbat (of that moon).

Therefore we can all see that 15th of Ethanim is a high day because the
feast began with the weekly Shabbat Day. The feast was 7 days and all
went home after. But the next day, 22nd, they came back to the temple.
The 22nd day is always a Shabbat. 29th of Ethanim was obviously another
shabbat as well; the last shabbat of the month or moon.

Many are confused of the commandment to keep the feast of booths

(Sukot ) for seven days because an eighth day is mentioned in Leviticus
23:33-43. Specifically from verse 39 to 43 ‘seven days’ is repeated four
times in verses 39,40, 41 and 42 but only in verse 39 we are told “ On
the first day shall be a Sabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a
Sabbath”. An eight day is a weekly Sabbath and has little or nothing to
do with the feast, that is why no emphasis is made of it. But about the
number of days to keep the feast which is 7 days from 15th -21st,
emphasis is made to ensure that the feast must be held 7 days under
the booths. It is sad that many who do not know that the 22nd of every
moon is always a weekly Sabbath day usually think and keep the feast
till that day and call it the last great day. That is false. 22nd as the eighth
day in that period is a usual weekly Sabbath.

In 2 chronicles 7:8-10 Solomon kept the feast 7 days as instructed in the

Torah and on the eighth day a solemn assembly was held. We should
note please if the feast were eighth days, Solomon would have kept it 8
days but he kept it only 7 days. The eighth day was a separate and
solemn day being a Sabbath. Just like we do these days after the
Sabbath on the 22nd of Ethanim, people would travel back to their cities
and homes on the 23rd day (2 chronicles 7:10).

CHAPTER 8
SEVEN DAYS WEEK OF GREGORIAN CALENDAR FAILED
CIRCUMNAVIGATORS IN 16TH CENTURY

Anyone with common intelligence should admit that the scripture clearly
teaches only one seventh day cycle each week. One should acknowledge
that with the traditional solar-system-day-cycle, there will be two of
them on entirely different days when men begin migrating East and
West from the Garden Of Eden and meet on the opposite side of the
earth. This is going to happen even if they spend 1000 years in moving
round the earth to meet each other to stay in the same place. There will
be two back to back 7 day cycles, 24 hours apart. This ABSOLUTE rules
out any possibility of the traditional Weekly Solar Cycle being scripturally
correct.
Let us take an example of a nation of people who could be keeping the
usual Saturday Shabbat somewhere on earth like Jerusalem in ancient
times. Let’s imagine that one part of this nation begins to migrate
eastward around the earth and another part migrates westward also
around the earth.

Although they have no formal calendar, as they travel, both groups are
keeping up their Seven-Day week and Shabbat Cycle faithfully and have
not skipped one beat. The people travelling east will begin to see the
Sun sooner and sooner until they eventually jump ahead of the day they
are on. Also the people travelling west will see the Sun later and later
until eventually they are behind the day they were on.

When all the migrants meet halfway around the earth, they will be 24
hours apart in their respective counts, though neither of them has
missed the counting 1-7, 1-7, 1-7. If they continue to move on until they
meet again back where they started, the two groups will be full 48 hours
apart (2 days apart) on their respective counts.
The westward group will be on the 6th day (Friday) of the week while
the eastward group will be on the 1st day (Sunday) of another week.
Although it is possible to be on different days if one is on the opposite
side of the earth, this is not the case. These two groups, having traveled
around the earth, are now back at the same place face to face; yet they
would claim to be on different days of the week.
So where then is the true shabbat? This is because each group had been
counting their 7 days faithfully but now having separate weekly
calendars. The two counts are correct by human traditional counting of
1-7, 1-7, 1-7.

At this point we can see that the groups relied only on their ability to
count and not looking for the sign the Creator gave on the 4th day of
creation. In fact they are not better than a lonely blind person who has
never experienced daylight. How can he tell when it is day or when it is
night. He cannot see the sign of the day. This is where the traditional
counting of 7 days continuously is faulty. The two groups who used to
keep the Shabbat on the same day, after coming back from a long
journey still on this earth will find themselves on different counts to
Shabbat. This would be a great confusion. Unbelievable; isn’t it?

Believe it or not, this is a scenario that has actually occurred in the

course of human history and there was serious controversy. (checkup
Megellan and Around The World in 80 days). What was the solution that
mankind came up with? [THE INTERNATIONAL DATE LINE – IDL]
And was this answer the correct one? NO.
Read on:
During the 1840s, trade interests turned to china, the Dutch East Indies
and adjacent areas, and the Philippines were changed to the west side
of the date line. Monday, 30thDecember 1844 (ending up as a 365 day
year, despite being a leap year) was followed by Wednesday, 1st
January, 1845. Was the weekly cycle of those people not changed
forever? Of course it was. If there were shabbat keepers in those
countries, how did they handle it?
This is what is called a historical FACT. No need to debate or scratch my
head trying to explain it away with some bunch of spiritual
interpretations. It happened on this earth. We cannot clean up this
record; just as we cannot clean up the history of Babylon, Medo-Persia,
Greece and Rome.

This is one fact that has brought up a huge question for our brothers
and sisters who have so much confidence in the traditional week of the
Gregorian calendar.
The first date line problem occurred in association with the
circumnavigation of the globe by Magellan’s expedition (1519-1522).
The surviving crew returned to a Spanish stopover; sure of the day of
the week, as attested by various carefully maintained sailing logs.
Surprisingly those on land insisted the day was different. This
phenomenon (which is today understood), caused great excitement at
that time to the extent that a special delegation was sent to the pope to
explain this temporal oddity to him.

From this happening you can imagine if a certain family sees off a
member on a trip round the world, the member on the trip (no matter
how many weeks the journey takes) will come back to meet those at
home on a different week day (2 days apart) if they count on Gregorian
weekly calendar. This is to say, if he left on Wednesday, traveling west,
he will come back on a Sunday but his family members will be on a
Friday.

The question is which week cycle is correct? The two cycles are wrong.
The only cycle that will judge them right is the lunar cycle. All they have
to do is to look at the moon and the sign of the week-day. When they
do that, there will be no difference on their days and dates. In other
words if they had been using the moon to count their days, there
wouldn’t have been any difference between them.

CHAPTER 9
THE TOXIC WASTE OF INTERNATIONAL DATE LINE ON HUMANS
AND THE CREATOR’S CALENDAR

Where Is It Dumped?
The riffraff from the hoodwinking of the running 7 days weekly cycle has
been pushed into the Pacific Ocean, hidden there and made to zigzag
between the islands near the Philippines by the powerful nations of this
wicked world.

Like some very harmful toxic waste, it was dumped in that region where
human population is almost dead and a name was given to it as IDL;
meaning - International Date Line.
IDL is the imaginary line which marks the spot on the earth's surface
where each new calendar day begins. The date just to the west of the
IDL is one day later than the date just to the east of it.

What this means is that if for example the Delaware River in U.S.A. were
the IDL, people in Pennsylvania would be at work on Friday on the west
side of the river while those in New Jersey, (at same hour of the day
looking at the same clouds) at the east side of the river, would be
observing the Sabbath on Saturday. They would cross the Benjamin F.
Bridge to meet their cousins but on conflicting week days.

Hmmm... The same would happen in Nigeria if the River Niger were
chosen to be the IDL. The two cities Asaba and Onitsha would always
have different days on their calendar even though they are separated by
just a river of 300m wide. Can you imagine that if you cross the so
called IDL through Niger Bridge from Asaba to Onitsha on a Friday, you
will meet your brothers worshiping on a Saturday (Sabbath) ? This is the
function of the Julian and now Gregorian calendar.

Nothing like this is seen in the calendar that signs in the sky are used to
count days, weeks and months (Lunar/Solar Calendar) . Those who use
the Creator's Lunar/Solar calendar harmoniously keep the same dates
and time at such close proximities all around the globe.

However the natural difference in time between the farthest locations

east to west or west to east on earth cannot be more than 12 hours.
But because humans, instead of obeying YAHWEH's command of making
use of the Sun and Moon in counting days, weeks and months (Gen.
1:14), have rather decided to fashion out a mechanical periodicity of
unremitting 7 days weekly cycle which completely ignores the moon
cycle.
Consequently, they have been forced to invent this Satanic line that is
pivoting the man-made calendar which causes travelers to reset their
dates (days) and not just time (hours). The fact that humans would
discover the truth after centuries of false belief due to some
misunderstanding or refusal to welcome and study strange discoveries is
not new and the weekly cycle cannot be an exemption. But the harm
would be fatal in this case because the weekly Sabbaths of Yahweh
would have been thought to occur on every Saturday of the pagan
Gregorian Calendar, floating without regard to other convocations on the
Creator's lunar/solar calendar and then they would sometime occur
back-to-back or even overlap on them.
The wrongly named "Lunar Sabbaths" which are the true weekly
Sabbaths which are on the same calendar with the other convocations in
Lev. 23, are orderly and perpetually occuring on 8th, 15th, 22nd and
29th of every moon.
They do not overlap with New Moons, Passovers and Atonements but
agreeably fit into the Sabbaths of the Feasts of Unleavened Bread and
Tabernacles and are called High Sabbaths.

CHAPTER 10
THE JEWISH SOLUTION TO THE ERRORS OF GREGORIAN
SUNDAY – SATURDAY WEEKLY CALENDAR
THE JEWISH SOLUTION
How did the Yudean (Jewish) religious world respond to the matter of IDL?
The concept of an International Date Line (IDL) is first mentioned in a 12 th
century Talmudic Commentary, which seems to indicate that the day changes in
an area where the time is six hours ahead of Jerusalem (90 degrees east of
Jerusalem, a line running through Philippines). This line which is referred to as
the K’tzaiHaizrach (the easternmost line) is used to calculate the day of Rosh
Hashana, the Jewish New Year.
So rank Judaism is aware of this problem. Did they present a “sacred”
solution for the rest of the Torah keeping world to follow? Of course they
did.
The date line poses a problem for religious travelers relative to the day on which
to observe the Shabbat and Holidays. The Shabbat is on the 7 th day of the week
which is constant if you stay on the same side of the date line. The problem
occurs when a Jewish traveller crosses the line and for him it is Friday but for
the city he is visiting, it is Saturday.

Most Rabbinical authorities hold that he should keep his own calendar (so it is
still Friday to him) until he meets local people for whom it is Saturday and only
then would he use the local calendar; and call the day Shabbat. In other words,
until you meet somebody who insists that it is Saturday, you keep pretending it
is still Friday.
If the Jews did not abandon the Luni-Solar calendar of the week, they would
simply look for the sign (the moon) to find out which day it actually is in the
region. The moon will tell them it is the Shabbat or the 6 th day. And if the local
people were also keeping the Luni-Solar weekly calendar, they would not at all
have a different day with any visitor because they would all be in the same day
and look at the same moon and affirm that they are on the same day of the
week.
There would be no need for the IDL if the counting cycle of 1-7
continuously was not faulty and affected the global travelers. The conflict
had no solution. Now, crossing the Date Line keeps everyone in synch, (24
hours ahead or behind) but it is a man-made solution.
Yahweh is more intelligent than humans:
Humans did not even know that there was a problem in the first place; but they
learned it by accident when the first global circumnavigators traveled around the
earth. Now, do you think Yahweh, the Creator of the universe was just as
shocked as men were when this confusion surfaced? No He saw that man had
created the problem for himself.

CHAPTER 11
THE APPARENT UNREMITTING SEVEN-DAY WEEKS OF MANNA
TERMINATED AT THE 7 DAY WAR AROUND JERICHO CITY

If we look closely, we can see that reasons for the keeping of Sabbaths are more
than the one we are familiar with (Creation in six days) and being a sign
between us and HIM, The Creator. Ex. 31:13
In Deut. 5:15 YHWH says that He did something with a mighty hand and an
outstretched arm therefore for this purpose the Israelites should observe the
Sabbath Day.
Holidays or Feasts (which weekly Sabbath is one of them) are observed for
some purpose or remembrance. We may not know why the purpose of Sabbath
keeping changes or rather increases but let us view it from the angle that it
might be that YHWH did this to prepare them for a knew LIFE behaviour.
Sabbath was first shown to them using the MANNA cycle. About that cycle, it
is favorably argued, assumed and accepted by the majority today that there was
no other information except that six days were "work" days and the 7th day was
"rest" day (the Sabbath Day). Many argue that this was observed unremittingly
for 40 years as they were moving in the desert. This thinking can be true.
But the day YHWH wanted to lift them into a higher level of life as adults to
withstand attacks and also carry out attacks by themselves, He stopped the
falling of Manna and its cycle which Sabbath was anchored on. He allowed
them to eat the yields of the land at the Passover/Feast Of Unleavened
Bread.(Joshua 5:10-12)

(10. "The children of Israel encamped in Gilgal. They kept the Passover on the
fourteenth day of the month at evening in the plains of Jericho.
11. They ate unleavened cakes and parched grain of the produce of the land on
the next day after the Passover, in the same day.
12. The manna ceased on the next day, after they had eaten of the produce of
the land. The children of Israel didn’t have manna any more; but they ate of the
fruit of the land of Canaan that year").
Next? He proved to them how powerfull it is to follow a seemingly new cycle
of weeks using the moon cycle as He led them to attack Jericho for 7 days
without break; starting from the New Moon Day.

“Jasher 88:14-18 And it was in the Second month, on the first day of the
month, that YHWH said to Yahoshua, rise up, behold I have given Jericho
into thy hand with all the people thereof; and all your fighting men shall go
round the city, once each day, thus shall you do for six days. 15 And the
priests shall blow upon trumpets, and when you shall hear the sound of the
trumpets, all the people shall give a great shouting… 16 And on the seventh
day they went round the city seven times and the priest blew upon trumpets
17. And at the seventh round, Yahoshua said to the people, shout, for YHWH
has delivered the whole city into our hands”.

Consequently on the 8th day, they kept the Sabbath. With this, the next seven-
days-a-week-counting continued for the 3 remaining weeks and Sabbaths; 9th—
15th, 16th—22nd and 23rd—29th of every moon permanently. This might have
been different from the cycle they used when they were moving in the
wilderness. This new weekly Calendar fits perfectly into the numerous yearly
Feasts YHWH had given in Leviticus 23 which they were about starting to
celebrate yearly. It does not allow the weekly Sabbaths to overlap with any of
them nor occur back-to-back presenting a difficulty of double Sabbaths on say
Friday and Saturday or Saturday and Sunday. Unfortunately, the leaders in
Judaism who have refused to use this calendar but are using the Gregorian
weekly Calendar pretending it is the same manna-cycle weekly calendar (even
with the knowledge of several changes made by different emperors and popes)
are always manipulating and fixing their new moons to shift the yearly Sabbaths
out from Friday or from Sunday.

This new weekly Calendar is not the only program that was delayed to be
introduced later in the lessons to the Israelites. Another was the 7
yearly Sabbaths which could not be observed till they got into the promised
land. But it was mentioned to them in the law long before the time to observe
that Sabbath came. The keeping of Sabbath in accordance with moon dates
could NOT have been a new thing to YHWH but it might have been new to the
Israelites because they were likely instructed to start its usage at the end of their
journey in the desert. YHWH's overall Calendar is eternal and beyond man's
limited understanding. Imagine the coincidence and timing which the Israelites'
entry into the promised land at that first spying of the land could have had with
YHWH's 50th Jubilee year from creation (50 x 50= 2500 years).
If they had entered the land as Joshua and Caleb advised, it could have been a
great success in achieving the plans made by Elohim for humanity. This shows
us that all calendars had been there from our Creator right from creation era.
Every first week of every moon has 8 days and this can be proven in the book of
Jasher 88:14 (Book of Jasher is mentioned in Joshua 10:13 and 2 Sam 1:18)
when they were attacking Jericho.

Unfortunately, weekly Sabbaths are still kept by millions of Sabbath keepers on

the man-made 7th day continuously which wrongly falls on the
Gregorian/Roman SATURDAY without any regard to the (New) Moon
observation as mentioned in Gen. 1:14 and Isaiah 66:23.
Sabbaths, whether weekly or yearly, must have reference to the moons starting
from the New Moons and not the Gregorian solar weeks or months that Romans
gave to the world.
Today, many call it Lunar Sabbath. But this is the eternal Sabbath of YHWH.

Significance of Falling Jericho Walls

The falling down of the walls of Jericho is worthy of note to believers who are
sure that much is yet learnt in the TRUTH. WE are still learning. We pray for
more teachings from brothers who are led by YAHWEH to teach us.
Inside Jericho, there were precious metals of various kinds which are
representations of the Kingdoms of this world - the same in Nebuchadnezar's
dream in the book of Daniel 2:32 - 42. YAHWEH wanted them to be taken into
HIS treasury (Joshua 6:19- But all the silver and gold and vessels of brass and
iron are consecrated unto YAHWEH: They shall come into the treasury of
YAHWEH).
YAHWEH was interested in taking over those kingdoms "for the kingdoms of
this world is become the kingdom of YAHWEH" (Rev. 11:15)

This "glory" is even a more glorious glory than the creation of the kingdoms, for
they were destined to fall out of the expected glorious state.

As the Yisraelites ended their desert journey and lessons were learnt, ELOHIM
prophetically told them to go into Jericho and take those kingdoms for HIM.
A more perfect Calendar was needed in place of the first manna-like one which
was simple to follow in accordance with bodily or fleshy needs.
Therefore the kind of Calendar that will uphold the Tabernacle age (a spiritual
one) was instituted by YAHWEH. Just like HE used some means (through
manna) to show them Sabbath before, HE also used the event of war to teach
them The Eternal Calendar (Luni/Solar).
The Luni/Solar calendar would not be as mechanical as the one they used for
the past years they were eating manna and not farm produce.

As they had wandered on desert for 40 years after rejecting the advice from
Joshua & Caleb the Jews again after they rejected The Messiah, they were made
to scater all over the world for the past 40 Jubilee years - 50 x 40 =2000 years
As the time of entering the Promised land is here, the spiritual walls of Jericho
must be pulled down. The Jews must stop the usage of the manna-cycled
Calendar which they copied from the world while they were eating manna for
40 Jubilees and keeping Sabbath every Saturday.
They are to start the war from the New Moon (Jasher 88:14) and march round
the walls of this 'worldly doctrines" for Seven Days and then on the 8th day,
they would rest as they enter the Tabernacles - or the Kingdom of YAHWEH.
After the first rest on the first weekend on the 8th of the moon, another rest will
be on 15th and the third weekly rest or Sabbath shall be on 22nd and finally in
every moon, the last Sabbath shall be on 29th.

YAHWEH did it as HE had planned from creation such that these weekly
Sabbaths corespond with the 4 major moon phases so that they will serve as
signs of times of worship as HE instituted in the Torah Gen 1:14 --" and let
them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years" Psalm 104:19---"He
appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knoweth his going down" .

IT IS ONLY A FABRICATOR WHO WILL SAY THAT "seasons" IN THE

TWO PASSAGES MEAN - RAINY SEASON OR DRY SEASON OR
WINTER OR SUMMER. Honest students know that "seasons" there mean
times of worship or gathering or festivals. That word SEASON is translated
from the Hebrew word "mo'ed" which means the things mentioned above.
THEREFORE any date of worship or convocation that is not counted from the
moon is out of synch with the others; and it is a man-made day of worship like
Saturday.
CHAPTER 12
A NEW CALENDAR AT THE CORNER AS SOLUTION TO
PROBLEMS OF THE PRESENT GREGORIAN CALENDAR

A NEW CALENDAR AT THE CORNER

On 21st October 1930, Elizabeth Achelis (1880 – 1978) founded a movement in
the United States to promote the proposed new world calendar. The proposal
was considered by the United Nations after the World War II but the idea was
officially torpedoed by United States on 21 st March 1955 in a memorandum
forwarded to the Secretary-General of the UN.
As usual Rome is (again) behind the fifth change of the calendar of the world.
This time the same characteristics of the original calendar of the Bible, the
powers that be hope to enter into history with the world calendar that will also
have a third category of day that will neither count as a work day nor a regular
rest day. There will be a world day, a universal holiday that falls between
Saturday the last day of December and Sunday the first day of January. This
world holiday will have no name. It will neither be Saturday nor Sunday nor
any name we have not heard before. Just call it “world Day” This day will
surely INTERRUPT the circle of seven day weeks that Saturday Shabbat
keepers now enjoy.
To add more problem to it, there will be a leap day every 4 year that falls
between Saturday the last day of June, and Sunday the first day of July. These
two WORLD HOLIDAYS would be the third category of day. It will look like
the Lunar-Solar calendar which has 3 categories of days; work days, Shabbat
days and new moon days.
The most significant likeness to the original Biblical calendar is that days of the
week will occur on the same dates every year. This would be a very perfect
counterfeit calendar. Yahweh’s calendar is the original.

HISTORY OF THE PRESENT-DAY GREGORIAN CALENDAR

The Julian calendar which predates the current Gregorian calendar by more than
1600 years, was adopted by Julius Caesar on 1st January 46 B.C. It replaced the
earlier and less accurate calendar.
For the first time in world history, in an attempt to align the calendar with the
true-solar year, one day was added to the Julian calendar in the months of
February, every 4 years.
But the Julian calendar year of 365.5 days was marginally longer than the true
solar year and over time, the calendar became significantly out of step with the
solar years.
The Pope as Head of Roman Catholic Church, had responsibility for approving
the Christian calendar of the modern era. Therefore, in 16thcentury, Pope
Gregory XIII (1502-1582) decided to resolve the problem of the calendar once
and for all.
Pope Gregory XIII engaged several highly regarded astronomers including the
noted Jesuit Christopher Clavius (1538-1612) to devise a new calendar to
overcome the deficiencies of the Julian Calendar.
On 24th February, 1582, he sign a papal bull known as Inter Gravissimas
authorizing the new Gregorian calendar. On 1st March 1582, the text of this
historical documents was displayed at the doors of St. Peters in Rome and was
promulgated throughout the church and the rest of the world. The new
Gregorian calendar was proclaimed to come into effect in October, 1582.
At the last moment of Thursday 4th October 1582, the calendar Jump forward to
Friday 15th October 1582, with the world losing 10 days forever. This
adjustment corrected sixteen centuries of progressive inacurrate time keeping.
Pope Gregory XIII also introduced a major reform to the leap year rule. Instead
of routinely adding a day at the end of February every 4 years, leap years would
not occur in centesimal years, such as 1700, 1800, 1900, unless those years
were divisible by 400.
Under this new arrangement, 2000 and 2400 would be leap years but 2100,
2200, 2300 would not qualify as leap years. This ensured that the Gregorian
calendar and the true solar year remained virtually identical, with the Gregorian
calendar moving ahead of the solar year by 25.96 seconds a year or only 1 day
every 3327 years.

Problems of Gregorian Calendar.

The Gregorian Calendar has had its limitations for over 400 years. Every year a
new calendar is required because days of the week change annually over a 28
year cycle of the current calendar. Every year festive seasons, public holidays
and schools holidays are held at variable times to coincide with the ever-
changing calendar. Other celebrations such as holidays – including Christmas
day for Christmas are held on different days of the week from one year to the
next.
The problem arises because each year of the current Gregorian calendar
comprises 52 weeks and one day (365 or 52 weeks and 2 days, in a leap year
366 days). The extra day forces the entire calendar to change by one day in the
following year, or 2 days in the year following a leap year.

Solution To Gregorian Calendar Problems

What an enormous benefits the whole world would have, if an unchanging
perpetual calendar could be adopted which would fix all days, weeks and
months in such a way that they would NEVER change. New Year’s Day would
always be on a Monday and all other dates and anniversaries would be fixed in
perpetuity. Persons married on a Saturday would celebrate their anniversary on
a Saturday for the rest of their lives. Churches, Schools, universities, employers,
workers, commerce, industry and other forms of human endeavors throughout
the world could confidently plan ahead many years in advance, with the
certainty of an absolutely fixed calendar. People would have to buy only one
calendar which would last a life time.

The lunar-solar calendar of the Bible has all these characteristics. All feast
days occur on the same week days every year. All weekly Shabbats occur
on the same week days; (8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th) every year; - which is the
main point of its rejection.

In the years following Clement of Alexandria’s time, an ominous change started
to take place that was to radically change the Christian concept of the Shabbat.
“This intimate connection between the week and the month was soon dissolved.
It is certain that the week soon followed a development of its own, and it
became the custom – without paying any regard to the days of the month (i.e the
lunar month) -- …so that the new moon no longer coincided with the first day

call Saturn Shabbti, ‘the star of the shabbath’ [and] it was not until the first
century of our era, when the planetary week had become an established

An old and still common theory derives the Sabbath institution from the
worship of Saturn after which planet the first day of the astrological week
received its designation. The theory is untenable for more than one reason. In
the first place the Hebrews did not name their weekdays after the planets, but
indicated by ordinal numbers. In the second place Saturn’s day began the
planetary week, while the Jewish [Hebrew] Sabbath was regarded as the last day
of the seven, a suitable position for a rest day. And in the third place neither the
Hebrews nor any other oriental people ever worship the planet Saturn as a god
and observed his day as a festival. Rest Days p243, Huston Webster.

Those who argue that the present Saturday of the Roman planetary week was
the 7th day of the week are either ignorant of the real facts or otherwise are plain
and blunt liars. All authoritative sources plainly show that originally in Rome
the week consisted of EIGHT days. And as long as this was the case the week
did not begin with SUNDAY but rather with SATURDAY. Yes, in ancient
Rome SATURDAY was the FIRST and not the SEVENTH day of their
consecutive week.
Hutton Webster in his book Days: A study in Early Law and Morality, on
p. 264 clearly points out that originally in Rome. SATURDAY the DAY of
SATURN –began the Roman astrological week: “…the worship of SATURN
after which planet the first day of the astrological week [SATURDAY] BEGAN
THE PLANETARY WEEK, while the Jewish Sabbath was regarded as the
LAST DAY.”

It is therefore not true that Saturday was ALWAYS the 7th day of the week. At
the time the Romans changed their weekly cycle and made Sunday to be their
1st day of the week and Saturday therefore the 7th, the Jews themselves ceased to
observe the Sabbath according to the LUNAR PHASES- as they have done for
hundreds of years – adopting the Roman Plantary week and Saturday their new
7th day of the week. The Jews did not only abadon and discard the older practice
of observing the Sabbath which was closely tied to the phases of the moon but
they have eventually even come to call this New Saturday of the Roman
Planetary week by the name Shabbath and the planet Saturn by the name
Shabbti, which means the star of the Sabbath.”
“These imported superstitions eventually led Jewish rabbis to call Saturn
Shabbti. “The star of the Sabbath,” [and]… it was not until [after] the first
century of our era, when the planetary week had become an established
institution, that the Jewish Sabbath seems always to have corresponded to
saturn’s day….Dio Cassius [Roman historian born 155 A.D.. died after 230
A.D.] also speaks of the Jews having dedicated to their God the day called the
day of Saturn’’ [Rest days, p. 244=245].
ShawuiCalendar:Ancient Sabbath Observance
“The [lunar] calendar was used by all the original disciples of Yeshua. This
original Nazarene lunar-solar calendar was supplanted by a Roman “Planetary
week” and calendar in 135 C.E. when the “Bishops of the Circumcision’ (i.e
Legitimate Nazarene successors to Yeshua) were displaced from Jerusalem.
This began a three hundred year controversy concerning the true calendar and
the correct Sabbath. “ Shawui Calendar: Ancient Shawui Observance.

Early historical records clearly confirm that very early Gentile Christians also
kept the same Sabbath as the Nazarenes. This practice was first changed by
[Pope] sixtus in 126 AD, and later officially changed by a royal Roman decree
from the emperor Constantine. Observance of the Sabbath day was made illegal
and observance of a “Sunday” of a fixed week was made mandatory for all
except farmers. Previous to this time the Roman Saturday was the first day of
the Roman week. The veneration of the Sun in the second century AD began to
pressure Roman Culture to change the first day of their week from Saturn Day

“Most theologians and some scholars assume that mainstream jewish society, at
the time of Jesus…. Was practicing a fixed seven –day week which was the
same as the modern fixed seven-day week. This is extremely doubtful. The
change, from a lunar to a fixed week, was brought about by the power and
influence of Rome. As long as the Nazarenes held power in Jersualem, all
Roman practices and customs, including that of the CONSECUTIVE WEEK,
WERE HELD AT BAY” Shawui Sabbath: Ancient Sabbath Observance.
THE COMPREHENSIVE HEBREW CALENDAR; ARTHUR SPIER
Since Biblical times the month and years of the Jewish calendar have been
established by the cycles of moon and the sun. The traditional law prescribes
that the months shall follow closely the course of the moon… in the early times
of our history the solution was found by the following practical procedure: the
beginnings of the months were determined by direct observation of the new
moon…

This method of observation and intercalation was in use throughout the period
of the second temple (516 B.C.E. 70 C.E), and about three centuries after its
destruction, as long as there was an independent Sanhedrin. In the fourth
century, however, when oppression and persecution threatened the continued
existence of the Sanhedrin, the patriarch Hillel II took an extraordinary step to
preserve the unity of Israel… he made public the system of calendar calculation
which up the to then had been a closely guarded secret. It had been used in the
past only to check the observations and testimonies of witnesses, and to
determine the beginnings of the spring season.
In accordance with this system, Hillel II formally sanctified all months in
advance, and intercalated all future leap years until such time as a new,
recognized Sanhedrin would be established in Israel. This is the permanent
calendar according to which the New Moons and Festivals are calculated and
celebrated today by the jews all over the world. Like the former system of
observation, it is based on the Lunisolar principle Arthur Spier, the
Comprehensive Hebrew Calendar.

The Seven Day Circle; EviatorZerubavel

The Jewish and astrological weeks evolved quite independently of one another.
However, given the coincidence of their identical length, it was only a matter of
time before some permanent correspondence between particular Jewish days
and particular planetary days would be made. A permanent correspondence
between the Sabbath and “The Day of Saturn” was thus established …. [some
time] later than the first century of the present era, Jews even came to name the
planet Saturn shabtai, after the original Hebrew name of the Sabbath, shabbath.
Moreover, as they came into closer contact with Hellenism, their conception of
their holy day was evidently affected by the astrological coneption of Saturn as
a planet that has an overwhelming negative influence (a conception which,
incidentally, is still evident even from the association of the English word
“Saturnine” with a gloomy disposition). There are traditional Jewish
superstitious beliefs about demons and evil spirits that hold full sway on the
Sabbath, and an old Jewish legend even links the choice of “The day of Saturn”
as the official Jewish rest day with the superstition that it would be an
inauspicious day for doing any work anyway! (The Seven Day Circle: The

On Page 11 Zerubavel makes some interesting comments about the Jewish

divorcement of YEHOVAH’s true Sabbath day from the lunar phases – the
dissociation of the week from a natural cycle such as the waxing and waning of
the moon can be seen as part of a general movement toward introducing a
supernatural deity. Not being personified as any particular natural force, the
Jewish god was to be regarded as untounched by nature in any way.
Accordingly, the day dedicated to this god was to be regarded as part of a divine
temporal pattern that transcends even nature itself. That obviously involved
dissociating the week from nature and its rhythms. Only by being based on an
entirely artificial mathematical rhythm could the Sabbath observance become
totally independent of the lunar or any other natural cycle.

Zerubavel goes on to say that:

A continuous seven – day cycle that runs throughout history paying no attention
whatsoever to the moon and its phases is a distinctly Jewish invention.
Moreover, the dissociation of the seven-day week from nature has been one
of the most significant contributions of Judaism to civilization. Like the
invention of the mechanical clock some 1,500 years later, it facilitates the
establishment of what Lewis Mumford identified as “mechanical
periodicity”, thus essentially increasing the distance between human beings
and nature. Quasi [lunar] weeks and [continuously] weeks actually represent
two fundamentally distinct modes of temporal organization of human life, the
former involving partial adaptation to nature, and the latter stressing total
emancipation from it. The invention of the continuous week was therefore one
of the most significant breakthroughs in human beings’ attempts to break away
from being prisoners of nature [and from under God’s law] and create a social
world of their own (The Seven Day Circle, p.11).

After reading these references of Shabbat and calendar changes from world
class reference books, no honest Bible student will continue to say that the
continuous Sunday - Saturday weekly cycle came from the creator.
CHAPTER 14
3 DAYS AND 3 NIGHTS HARD NUT AGAINST WEEKLY
LUNISOLAR CALENDAR CRACKED
Matt 12:40 states ( for just as Yonah was three days and three nights in
the belly of the sea monster, so shall the Son of Man be three days and
three nights in the heart of the earth )
This is the ONLY place other than in Yonah 1:17 where Yonah was said
to be " three days and three nights buried as it were in the grave. This is
often taken literally as 72hours, rather than seeing it as a Hebrew Idiom
for continuous time.
ALL OTHER PASSAGES - 20 in the New Testament alone {Matt 16:21,
17:23, 20:19, 26:61, 27:40; Mark 9:31, 10:34, 14:58, 15:29; Luke 9:22,
13:32, 18:33, 24:7, 24:21, 24:46; John 2:19 & 20; Act 10:40, 1Cor 15:4
} speak of The Messiah being raised on the THIRD DAY or THREE DAYS
which mean the same in length of time.
In common vernacular of that time, the third day or three days would
have included Yahoshua's burial day as the first day. (In "Rabbinical
thought", says The expositor's Commentary, "a day and a night make
an Onah, and a part of an Onah is the whole") A source for this
statement is Rabbi Eleazer Ben Azariah who lived around 100 AD. (Ralph
Woodrow,Three Days & Three Nights, p.44).

Again, take note that the normal rule and practice for interpreting
apparent contradictions is to RE-INTERPRET the exceptional statement
(of few passages or a single passage like Matt 12:40) to fit the
numerous ones.

Likewise interpreters should not force the 20 other clear statements to

submit to the single idiomatic statement. Perhaps the clearest statement
defining the " third day" is found in Luke 13:32-33 which reads (And He
said to them "Go and tell that fox 'Behold I cast out demonds and
perform cures TODAY AND TOMORROW, AND THE THIRD DAY I reach
my goal. Nevertheless, I must journey TODAY and TOMORROW and the
NEXT day; for it cannot be that a prophet should perish outside of
Yahrushalem").
Also the two men traveling to Emmaus told Yahoshua the sad story of
the impalement , not knowing that they were talking to the Risen
Messiah. They said in Luke 24:21 " It is the third day since these things
happened.
3RD DAY PROOF IN TORAH:

The Torah is certainly where one can prove the Third Day length from 14th to 16th - after the
Sabbath on 15th of Abib which is the first day of the feast. 14th is Day 1, 15th is Day 2 and the 3rd
day 16th when the sheaf of the First Fruits are waved to YHVH is Day 3 (Lev. 23: 5 - 11).

In Lev. 19 : 6 - 7 we read again about Peace Offering unto YHVH ; " It shall be eaten the same day you
offer it, and on the morrow; and if any remains until the third day, it shall be burnt with fire. And if it
is eaten at all on the third day it is an abomination; it shall not be accepted".

Here we have seen that " today", "morrw" are 2 days and if it remains to the 3rd day, it sums up to 3
days. (e.g. eat it today Wednesday and morrow being Thursday. If it is eaten on the 3rd day Friday, it
shall not be accepted). This is simple. Eat it only 2 times in two days Wednesday and Thursday; do
not eat it in the 3rd day, Friday. If anyone thinks it should be 3rd day on Saturday evening, that
would be the end of 4th day getting to the 5th day.

Therefore anyone who says that 20 passages of "third day" or "three

days" should be forced to mean 72hours or three nights and three days
(Wednesday to Saturday) should be prepared to use the same method
elsewhere on other seemingly confusing passages.
It is surprising that proponents of Saturday Saturday Sabbath do not
even care to fix their puzzles well to make the wave Sheaf coincide with
the 3 days and 3 nights "in the tomb" hypothesis.
After the Passover, when the Savior was laid in the tomb they would
celebrate His resurrection (Wave Sheaf) NOT AFTER 3 DAYS AND THREE
NIGHTS but after any number of days the faulty hypothesis takes them.
Sometimes after 5 days (108 hours) or 6 days or 4 days or 3 days .Just
anyhow.

CHAPTER 15
COUNTING 7 SABBATHS(PLUS 1 DAY OR 50 DAYS)
TO THE FEAST OF WEEKS
SHAVUOT
WHEN SHOULD IT BE HELD?

After a thorough session of interesting and conclusive discussion on

when the next "Shavuot" - Feast of weeks (Pentecost) should be held in
2012 with some members of the Hebrews Scripture Research
Foundation, I rushed home in satisfaction with the hope of finding more
evidences to prove that for centuries this important Feast had been
observed by innocent Bible believers on WRONG DATES (myself
inclusive).

At home shortly, I picked my laptop. A few minutes later, I was on my

mail box. About 5 items were waiting for my reading. No other massage
was as interesting and important as a newsletter from Yahweh’s
Restoration Ministry. Caption was “Prepare For Feast Of Weeks”.

This was the massage “With Passover and the Feast Of

Unleavened Bread distant memories, we focus on the next
moed, the Feast of weeks or Pentecost on May 27. Tradition and
historical evidence say that Pentecost marked the giving of the
Law at Sinai and start of the wheat harvest.

Under the new Covenant its significance was first noted in the
giving of the spirit to the 120 and then the 3,000 who were
immersed following Peter’s sermon about Yahshua and what
His death signified. Make plans to join us at Holts Summits
(USA) for a twin Sabbath the last weekend in May”

Needless to say that the message had all the facts about the Feast of
Weeks except the date on which it was to be celebrated. This is the
reason why I have decided to quote it verbatim because we are going to
use it to see how incorrectly Feasts keepers, Jews and theological
schools have all the while been passing on false doctrine (false teaching)
to generations after generations.

The roadmap to this error began when the Jews themselves abandoned
the true Calendar their ancestors were using some years after our
Saviour, Yahshua Messiah had ascended to the Father. Blame should
however not be apportioned to them because hardly any human could
withstand the magnitude of oppression, brutality, abuse, maltreatment
and persecution they faced in attempts to continue with the keeping of
the Luni-Sola calendar of the Creator. After the destruction of the last
Temple and the scattering of the Jews, the true calendar was completely
abandoned. Hundreds of years later, when the Jews came back, they
came back with the world’s continuously fixed seven-day weekly
calendar.

We should have in mind that “when you find how Yahwehs’s creation
determines a week, is when you can find the true Sabbath. Therefore, it
is not only the Feast of Weeks that a mistake has been made but even
more seriously mistakes have been made on weekly Sabbath dates.

Since the Feast of Weeks itself is tied to counting of weeks, it became

obvious that grave mistakes were waiting for future feast keepers to
make.

During our discussion, we discovered that Lev. 23:15-16 was another

extremely misunderstood passage in the scriptures. This is where the
count to the Feast Of Weeks is recorded. The passage says

(15) “And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the
Sabbath from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave
offering; seven Sabbaths shall be complete.

(16) Even unto the morrow after the seventh Sabbath shall ye
number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto
Yahweh”

(Take note of the expression "fifty days". It is NOT "fiftieth

day")

Again the words "count" in verse 15 and "number" in verse 16

are transliterations from one Hebrew word "Saphar"
pronounced "saw-far". Therefore, let us not think that
"number" in verse 16 means "terminate the counting" NO. It is
the same in meaning as "count" in verse 15. (Check Strong's
lexicon concordance number H5608). Unfortunately English
translators did what sounded nice to them differently in the
two verses. In the entire Bible "saphar" is interpreted as
"count" 23 times and as "number" 6 times; yet it converses the
same meaning.

(1) So when should we begin the count of 7 Sabbaths?

(2) When should we begin the count of 50 days?

For centuries, the 7 Sabbaths and the 50 days were begun on the same
day (16th of Abib). And obviously the Feast of weeks (FOW) would be
held on 6th Sivan for orthodox Jews and for Messianic brothers it would
be on a Sunday on or after 6th Sivan. (This is because they will locate a
Gregorian 7th day (Saturday Sabbath) within the Feast of Unleavened
Bread Week to observe the Wave Offering next day being Sunday).

The Practice of counting 7 Sabbaths from Wave Sheaf and coming back
to start the 50 days counting from the same day of Wave Sheaf was
wrong.

HERE IS THE PROOF THAT IT HAD BEEN WRONG

If FOW (Pentecost) is a remembrance or marks the giving of Law at

Sinai and the start of Wheat Harvest, then how can 6th of Sivan or
‘Sunday after 6th Sivan’ be the correct date when Moshe collected the
Law from the Almighty. Moshe did not even start going up to the
mountain on this first week of the 3rd month, (Sivan). Ex 24:12 is where
we find when Moshe started going up to the mountain to stay for 40
days and 40 nights. This was on the 19th day of the 3rd month, (Sivan).
But the world would have celebrated FOW or Pentecost on the 6th of the
same 3rd Month. How can this be? Dedicating the baby before it was
born?

Let us take a little more time to look at this scripture. My Thompson

chain-Reference Bible on Exodus chapter 19 has this summary on top of
it before verse one. It says “The People come to Sinai. (3) Yah’s
message to them. (8) Their answer. (10)They are prepared against the
3rd day. (12) The Mountain must not be touched. (16) The fearful
presence of Elohim upon the Mount.

Now the main text in Ex. 19:1 "In the third month, when the children of
Israel were gone forth out of the land of Egypt, the same day came
they into the wilderness of Sinai.
How do you understand this important verse? The meaning is that, as
the children of Israel left Egypt on the 15th of Abib, it was on
the same corresponding date, 15th of Sivan (the 3rd Moon) when
they came to wilderness of Sinai; if you reject this understanding, it
is as bad as rejecting the whole Story of Exodus.

If you accept this understanding, then celebrating Feast of weeks or

Pentecost on 6th of Sivan or the following Sunday should not be linked
with the ‘giving of the Law at Sinai’ because Moshe did not even go to
the mountain as at 15th of Sivan.

Israel arrived at Sinai on the 15th of the third month (Sivan). They were
to be sanctified 2 days later (Ex. 19:10) and the third day 18thElohim
came down to the top of the mount and called Moshe up but sent him
down again to go and caution the People not to touch the mountain.
Moshe was back to the People. In Exodus 20, Ex. 21, Ex. 22, Ex. 23, he
was writing down the commandments Yahweh told him.

The next morning (Ex. 24:4-7) of 19th Sivan he read what he had written
to the audience of the people. Ex. 24:12 Yahweh called Moshe up again
to give him tablets of stone which the Law and commandments to teach
the people were written. This time he stayed 40days and 40nights. The
day he came down was the day the people were corrupting themselves
by worshiping a golden calf. This would be either 28th or 29th or 30th of
the moon. In our celebration today, it may be any of the 3days
depending on how many days shall the Creator give us in the moons
before the date. (Please note again that the Isrealites have wrongly
assigned fixed number of days to every moon of the year) Moons do not
have same number of days every year like the world's months that have
the same number of days always. Example, January always has 31 days
every year. On the contrary, The Creator may give 30 days in Abib this
year but next year, 29 days.

Can you say that counting 7 Sabbaths to the first week of Sivan and
then moving on and counting 50 days in addition which takes you to
28th or 29th or 30th of the fourth month and the historical events in
Exodus which end around the same date as Moshe comes down with 2
tablets of stones prepared for him by Elohim are mere coincidence? I am
sure sincerity would not allow you to say they are coincidence.

Even nature as the most reliable witness confirms this fact as well
because the summer wheat which are used at this Feast are usually
planted during first week of Abib and takes four months to mature (110
- 120 days) which our Messiah also reminded the disciples in John 4:35.
“Do you not say, ‘Four months more and then the harvest’? I tell you,
open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest”

It would have been FOW without wheat harvest if the feasts were held
in the first week of the 3rd month. Do not forget this wheat shall be used
to make Leavened bread at this Feast.

The grains would still be 7 weeks yet to mature. Therefore the correct
counting to FOW after Passover is counting 7 Sabbaths and counting 50
days in addition to the 7 Sabbaths. Oh, are you worried about the Greek
name given to the Feast (as Pentecost) which means Fifty? This was an
interpretation of the 50 days into Greek only.. What about the 7
Sabbaths? Of course they hated the Sabbaths of the Jews. Pentecost
has nothing to do with the Hebrew Name of the Feast popularly known
as SHAVUOT.

The cloud is moving. We need either to follow or be left in the

wilderness.

CHAPTER 16
THE REASON FOR JUDAISM’S DELIBRATE MANIPULATION OF
THE CREATOR’S CALENDAR
A few years after we joined the Jewish faith realizing that all the feasts
listed in Leviticus 23 are still in force contrary to what Christianity
teaches and even some Sabbath keepers, some of us got so confused of
what was really the truth with regards to counting moon days to
different feast days/dates.
We would see the crescent, confirm it with other witnesses but will
be shocked to hear that the generality of the Jews would be keeping the
feasts of that month on dates completely out of sync with the previously
confirmed crescent of the month. This was very confusing. We would
ask; how do they count to the feast dates or did they not see the
crescent on the day we all saw it?
The answer came one day when we visited a long standing elder
in the faith. When we complained, he informed us that Jews can never
allow the feast of booths to begin on Friday or Sunday. We were not
satisfied with that information. In fact more questions arose in our
discussions when we left the elder.
It was two years later when we accepted the lunisolar weekly calendar
and rejected the unremitting Saturday Sabbaths, that the whole picture
and all the answers to our questions came very clearly to us. The Jews
had caused the problem by using two different calendars to count
weekly worship days and festivals in Leviticus 23. They had abandoned
the weekly lunisolar calendar and adopted the Gregorian weekly
calendar to keep weekly Sabbaths on every Saturday. This practice has
completely disassociated the weekly Sabbath and weeks from the entire
calendar of the scriptures. However, they continue to use the moon
dates to count out the yearly feasts and other memorials. Very sad in
deed that the people whom the oracle of the Creator was handed over
to (Roman 31:1-3) have decided to adapt a worldly weekly calendar to
mark the most important command – Sabbath; which is a sign between
them (Man) and YHWH and believe that they are doing well because
they are keeping other feasts on lunisolar dates.

Further research reveals that they also have laid down rules on how to
shift these yearly Sabbaths away from Friday and Sunday. Here is what
we found out on the topic “Rosh Hashanah Postponement Rules”
Just four Potential Conditions are considered to determine whether the
date of Rosh Hashlanah must be postponed. They are called the Rosh
Haslanah Postponement Rules or Dehiyyot.

 If the molad occurs at or later than noon, Rosh Hashanah is

postponed a day. This is called Dehiyyah Molad Zaken (Literally –
“Old Birth”, i.e Late new Moon).
 If the Molad occurs on a Sunday, Wednesday or Friday, Rosh
Hashanah is postponed a day. If the application of Dehiyyah Molad
Zaken would place Rosh Hashanah on one of these days, then it
must be postponed a second day. This is called Dehiyyah LO Adu,
an Acronym that means “Not one, four or six.
 If the molad in a common year falls on a Tuesday after 9 hours,
Rosh Hashanah is postponed to Thursday.
 If the Molad following a leap year falls on a Monday, more than 15
hours after the Hebrew day began (For calculation purposes, this
is taken to be 6pm Sunday), Rosh Hashanah is postponed to
Tuesday.
Again at the innovation of the sages, the calendar was arranged to
ensure that Yom Kippur would not fall on a Friday or Sunday. Therefore
to prevent Yom Kippur (Ethanim 10) from falling on a Friday or Sunday,
Rosh Hashanah cannot be allowed to fall on: Monday, Tuesday,
Thursday and Saturday which are referred to as the FOUR GATES.

The whole problem is caused by the usage of Saturday constantly as a

weekly Sabbath. Counting weeks and Sabbaths on moon dates does not
bring this problem and there is no postponement of Rosh Hashanah and
no manipulation of any New Moon Dates.
Many are not aware that Modern Jewish Calendar has been given a
multiplicity of new year dates for different purposes. These new years
are not found in the scriptures except Abib I or Nisan I.

They are: The 1st of Nisan is the New year for kings and feasts.
The 1st of ELul is the New year for the tithe of cattle and
other animals.

The 1st of Tishri is the New year for years, of the year of
release and jubilee years, for the planting and for
vegetables.

The 1st of Shevet is the New year for trees.

These dates except Abib I are strange to the scriptures and are part of
what our savior described as traditions of men.

Please all sincere seekers of Truth should note that most Jewish
traditions and doctrines are not scriptural and most scriptural doctrines
do not accommodate Jewish traditions and doctrines.

You can only side one and practise the very one you side. Scriptures
came from the Creator but Jewish traditions come from humans.

Be wise.

AFTERWORD

Civilization Distorts Times of Worship

 It is true that some days are long and others are short in different
seasons; except when measured mechanically and that is called
“mechanical periodicity” which claims that all day-lights and nights
are (12 hours each), the same in duration. This is man-made.

 It is true that some months are longer than others. Even man-
made months have 28 days, 30 days, 31 days and sometimes 29
days; while natural months (moons) also have 29 days or 30 days.

 It is true that some years are longer than others. Man-made years
have either 365 days or 366 days (for leap); while the Creator’s
 years are either 12 moons (354 days) or 13 moons (383 days)-
Ve’adah.

 Therefore it CANNOT BE TRUE that all weeks are equal with 7

days each always. The present Gregorian weeks are artificial and
mechanical as the continuous 24 hour-long days. This is a badly
man-made period of time.

The truth about weeks is that some are naturally longer than others
(just like days, months or moons and years).

The first biblical weeks in every moon are usually longer than the last 3
weeks. It usually lasts 8 days and sometimes 9 days whenever the
preceding month or moon would have 30 days.

Your WORSHIP TIMES will only be ACCURATE if you know when the
Creator’s day, the Creator’s week, the Creator’s month and His year truly
begins and ends.

Be reminded again that “The One in charge is in charge of the calendar.

The calendar you observe reveals the one you obey”.

EXCURSUS

KING OF THE JEWS

SON OF DAVID

In Mt.2:2, Mk.15:26,Lk.23:38, and Jn 19:19 the scripture confirms that

the Saviour of the world at birth and even at His death on the stake was
addressed as “The King of the Jews”. He is also “ The King of Kings” -
Meaning He is the King of the whole world (Rev.17:14, Rev.19:16).
Unfortunately, His brothers He came to rule and save rejected Him and
the gentiles who claim to receive Him have since renamed Him with a
name He never heard all His years on this earth.

But we ask; can the king of the Jews be given a Greek name? Do you
think Joseph and Mary would have believed the messenger, Gabriel, if
he had told them that the one who will save the Hebrew people (Jews)
shall bear a Greek name? it would have made nonsense of that message
right from the beginning. We do not need to emphasize the fact that the
slightest attempt to relate the long expected Jewish Messiah with a
Greek name would have broken the scriptures.
The prophecy said He was going to come from the house of David (Mt.
1:1, Rev. 5:5) and at least 14 passages in the New Testament record
how the ordinary Jews actually addressed Him as “SON OF DAVID”. It is
difficult to imagine the absurdity of a son of David walking around the
streets of Yahrusalem with a Greek name, let alone the one that was
expected for centuries to come and save the Jews. Even the prophecy of
the End Time (Rev. 5:5) affirms our Saviour the “Judge” as the Lion of
the tribe of Yahudah (Judah), the Root of David. This is further proof
that truly Salvation is of the Yahudim (Jews) - John 4:22, Rom. 9:4.
Therefore any Greek linkage is falsehood. Yahshua is the Aleph and Tau
and not Alpha & Omega.

The truth is that Mary and Joseph were told that their baby would be
named YAHSHUA (or YAHOSHUA) meaning “Yah Saves” or “Yahweh
Saves”. The Saviour Himself later said I am come in My Father’s Name”
(Jn. 5:43) which is“YAH” (Ps. 68:4) but the world does not receive Him.
The world receives a Greek name instead of the Jewish name,
“YAHSHUA”.
A song says that there is something about the name. Yes, surely, there
is; and that something is that the name was not what the western world
worships today. They are worshiping a Greek name. Our Saviour
detested the ways of the Greeks because they were worshipers of idols.
In Mk. 7:25-27 He had called a certain Greek woman and her sick
daughter dogs. Why? The Greeks were not a chosen race. Only the Jews
were the children of the Almighty who were chosen and given the
commandments to live with.
The Creator revealed His Name and His Son’s Name to them. it was and
still is for the nations (gentiles) to humble themselves and receive
without questioning the commandments, statutes and most importantly
the names of the Father and the Son which are keys to deliverance and
everlasting life (Jn.4:22, Malachi 1:11, Ps. 68:4, Act 4:12,Rom.11:11-
24).

The woman did not miss the blessing because she accepted her position
as a dog before our Saviour (Mk 7:28-29). She answered and said unto
Him, “yes Master, yet the dogs under the table eat of the children’s
crumbs” and He said unto her “for this saying, go thy way. The devil is
gone out of thy daughter”. This Greek woman was a worshipper of
Zeus, the supreme deity of the Greek people. In fact many Greek
names exalt this ancient deity till today. Names like Alphonsus,Cletus,
Livinus Macnus, Marcus, Festus, Linus, Pius, Paulinus, Rufus, which end
with “US” ultimately exalt Zeus.

Many Bible believers are yet to realize that Satan the devil had expertly
crept into the New Testament section of the Bible with names that exalt
Zeus, one of his agents here on earth. The adversary used the Bible
translators to cause the whole western world to exalt the name of this
Greek Deity when they read the New Testament section of the English
Bible. The New Testament is already called The Greek Scripture. Yes, it
has been putrefied to that level. It is filled with man-made Greek names
like Elisus instead of Elisha, Damascus instead of Dammesaq, Azotus
instead of Ashdod, Alphaeus instead of Alphai, Timotheus Act 17:14
instead Timothy, Nicodemus instead of Nakdimon, Lazarus instead of
El’azar, Zacchaeus instead of Zakki, Bartimeus instead Bartimai and the
worst of them all are Jesus instead of Yahshua, Christ instead of
Moshiach (Messiah).

According to Dictionary of Christian Lore & Legend, J.C.J. Metford, Pg

126- it is known that the Greek name endings of sus, seus, and sous
(which are phonetic pronounciations for Zeus) were attached by the
Greeks to names and geographical areas as a means to give honour to
their supreme deity, Zeus (the sun god). Examples are Parnassus, a
sacred mountain in Greece; (also Tarsus, meaning sweat of Zeus’), the
Greek deity of wine and son of Zeus, Dionysus; the Greek deity of
healing was leusus (which is a variant spelling of lesous/lesus/Jesus).

Now we have seen that we ought not to call our Messiah “the Lord
Jesus”, but what about “Christ?” is it acceptable to use the title “Christ
interchangeably with the “Messiah”? No. According to ‘Messiah Not
Christ. Faith Bible and Tract society “the Greeks could have used the
Grecian form of (Messiah)... if they had so wished but they preferred to
use a substitute name of the savior, and so they adopted the Greek
form of the ancient Hindu savior, (the Hindu sun-god, kris) Chrisna
(Krisna), and called the Hebrew savior ‘Christos’...Christ comes from the
Greek ‘krishna’ (Chrishna) having the meaning to anoint (but not in the
sacred sense).

If you check the whole of the old Testament section of the scriptures
which records the prophesies of the coming savior, you cannot see
anything close to this pagan title as “Christ” promised to come to save
the Jews. Messiah was promised ;(Daniel 9:25)
Do you think we are the only people who know this and have come up
with this article to insult the name so dear to your heart? No. All modern
translators know it too but they refuse to write “Yahshua” because they
want to sell their bibles to millions of “Jesus lovers”. Here is a proof;
take the King James Bible and open at Act 7:45 and Heb. 4:8 and then
compare the names written there with any other Bible version. You will
notice that King James writes “Jesus” instead of “Joshua”. Joshua is the
corrupted form of “Yahshua”. The successor of Moshe was “Yahshua” by
name in Hebrew. Our saviour bears the same name. King James
changed all Yahshua(s) to Jesus and changed those ones also which
referred to the successor of Moshe. Modern translators would not want
to reverse everything especially the “Jesus(s)” King James brought in for
the Saviour’s Name. They say people have been so used to it that if they
correct it, their Bibles will not be bought and they will lose their
investment.

Among many other reasons why “Jesus is erroneous is the simple fact
that it begins with the letter J. This letter is the most recent letter added
to our English alphabet. Hence, the Saviour’s name (and that of His
father) could not begin with it because it did not exist when our Saviour
was born- not even a thousand years later.

The 1611 King James Bible uses “I” in such names as Ieremiah
(Jeremiah) Iosiah (Josiah), Iudah (Judah), and Ierusalem (Jerusalem).

Scholars say that since letter “I” and “y” were interchangeably used, the
initial “I” at the beginning of words had the consonantal value of letter
“y”. Till today, there is no J letter sound equivalent in Hebrew. Again
letter J is the only letter not found in the periodic table in Chemistry.
Why?

Ardent lovers of “Jehovah” like the writers of “The Divine Name that will
Endure Forever” published by Watch Tower Bible & Tract Society
(Jehovah’s Witnesses) confirm that Jehovah and Jesus like many other
Bible Names though erroneous and strange in the Bible are used
because they are familiar to us after years of usage. Here is what they
write concerning “Jesus”. “....would it not though be better to use the
form that might be closer to the original pronunciation? Not really, for
that is not the custom with Bible names. To take the most prominent
example, consider the name of Jesus. Do you know how Jesus’ family
and friends addressed him in day-to-day conversation while he was
growing up in Nazareth? The truth is, no human knows for certain,
although it may have been something like Yeshua (or perhaps
Yehoshua). It certainly was not Jesus”. (pg 9.)

It is not only sad but totally blasphemous that they attempted to give
The Messiah of the world a god’s name or dog’s name; whichever. They
are the same, after all “God” was also the name of a deity in Teutonic
tribe in Europe but has found favour and reverence in the English
language as a good name or title. The dictionaries say that “GOD” or
“god” is anything humans worship. This cannot therefore be the
Personal Name of the Almighty of the Israelites who revealed His Name
to Moshe in the Burning bush as “YAHWEH” and many prophets’ names
exalt Him. Examples are Yeshayahu, Eliyahu, Yirmeyahu, Obadyah,
Tsephanyah, Zekaryah, Nehemyah.

What about Halleluyah? Halleluyah means “Praise -You- Yah” (Praise

You Yahweh). Most times it is corrupted in many ways like Halleluiah or
Alleluia or Hallelujah. The truth is that it is a pure Hebrew word spoken
in Heaven and on earth (Rv. 19:1). Again “The Lord” cannot be the
Creator’s name because “LORD” is a common title used for humans.
Secondly, personal names do not take “the” to qualify themselves; for
example “The Abraham” or “The Moses” or the Buhari. You do not see
these anywhere. When you hear our pastors say “Praise the Lord!” the
response always is “Hallelujah” meaning “Praise You Yah”. Therefore
you do not obey your pastor to exalt “Lord” but ultimately give
exaltation to Yahweh
Some may say - is there anything wrong with calling YAHWEH the title
LORD? Let’s see what Yahweh says about it. Exod. 23:13 “In all that I
have said to you be circumspect and make no mention of the names of
false deities, neither let them be heard from your mouth”. The Name
YAHWEH is the proper Name of the Almighty... The self Existent or
Eternal... The one who exists and/or causes existence” (Strong’s
Concordance). LORD is defined very differently “BAAL =LORD, supreme
male divinity of the Phoenicians of Canaanites” (Brown Driver/Briggs
Hebrew Lexicon, N01168) Jeremiah 23:26 “How long shall this be in the
heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? Yea, they are prophets of the
deceit of their own hearts; 27. Which think to cause my people to forget
my name... as their fathers have forgotten my name for BAAL (the
LORD).
That they, nations or gentiles get solutions to problems when they call
on some name that they worship cannot make that name to be the
name that will resurrect them onto everlasting life. The devil works
miracles in any name unbelievers believe. But only the name that was
given from above will save man and give him everlasting life (Act 4:12).
Are you a Christian? If you are, it is not late to begin to use the original
Hebrew name of our Saviour (YAHSHUA) in your prayers and songs.
“Jesus” is a Greek name. Our Saviour said Greeks are dogs whose many
names exalt Zeus. Jesus means “Healing Zeus” ok. If the translators
were sincere to translate the Saviour’s Name (Yahshua) to Greek, it
should have been Yahsote. “Sote” means “save” in Greek just like “shua”
which means “save” in Hebrew.

If you ask properly trained pastors, they will tell you “yes the name in
Hebrew is Yahshua and it is the same as Jesus”. Such answers are not
only misleading but blasphemous. How can a name that exalts Zeus, an
idol, be the same in value with the one that will save humanity? In 2
Cor. 6:15 a rhetorical question is asked “And what agreement has
Messiah with Belial (Beliya’al)...?” Think about it yourself because
Malachi 3:16 says “Then those that fear Yahweh speak to one another,
and Yahweh listens and hears, and a book of remembrance be written
before Him, for them.... and those who think upon His name.
We encourage you to think, sing and pray in Messiah’s name, Yahshua.
