SpringerLink, the premier online STM collection from Springer, offers some 2,250 eJournals, 20,000
Protocols and more than 40,000 eBooks, eReference Works and eBook Series titles with 4,000 new titles
being added each year. SpringerLink provides portable, searchable publications in PDF and HTML formats.
You’ll find high resolution illustrations, and outstanding search capabilities, with interconnecting hyperlinks
between publications. Semantic linking and look inside technology improve search results, making research
more efficient. Library patrons can access SpringerLink via IP recognition, and remote user/password

Guided Navigation builds context around each search, so
users are constantly prompted with useful next steps. The
navigation prioritizes and organizes relevant information,

IP Recongnition: Process of validating a user by IP
address while off site through proxy or VPN.

Athens and Shibboleth Authentication: Allows individuals


to use single sign-on by allowing sites to make informed
authorization decisions for individual access of protected   
online resources in a privacy-preserving manner.

Username and Password: Individual users can set up their


own username and password and gain access through
their affiliation by associating their account to their
institution or organization.

Customer Branding: Library or institution’s logo and text


is displayed on patron reader interface.
