BYLAWS
Junior Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines at
Leon Guinto Memorial College, Inc.
ARTICLE I NAME
Section 1. The name of this organization shall be the Junior Financial Executives
Institute of the Philippines (JFINEX) at Leon Guinto Memorial College,
Inc. It is a local chapter of a National organization called Junior Financial
Executives Institute of the Philippines.
ARTICE II PURPOSE
Section 1. The purposes of this organization are enrich the student experience
by creating a collaborative community that fosters a balanced and
purposeful life, also to prepare and engage students to lead, learn and
live in a global society.
ARTICLE IV MEMBERSHIP
ARTICLE V OFFICERS
Section 1. The officers of the organization shall be President, VP for External Affairs,
VP for Research and Logistics, VP for Social and Academic Affairs, VP
for Publication and Communication, VP for Membership, Secretary
General, Executive Auditor and Executive Treasurer
Section 1. The officers are elected annually. Elections are held at the end of every
school year and shall take place at a regularly scheduled meeting of the
organization at which a quorum is present. At least one week’s notice
shall be provided for any meeting at which an election is to be held.
Section 3. The officers shall be elected in this order: [List order, usually
starting with the President].
Section 5. Votes shall be cast by secret ballot; however, when there is only one
candidate for an office, a motion may be made to elect the candidate by
acclamation.
Section 7. Officers shall assume office on the start of the school year and shall
serve for the whole school year.
Section 2. The faculty/staff advisor will never have control of the organization or its
finances, but they will have the right to limit and oversee the transactions
of the organization.
Section 1. The Executive Committee shall consist of the elected and appointed
officers, with the advisor(s) serving as non-voting member(s).
Section 2. The Executive Committee shall meet monthly during the academic
year. Special meetings may be called by the President or a
majority of the Executive Committee. All members must be given
24 hours notice of the meeting. A quorum shall consist of a majority
of the Executive Committee members.
Section 4. The Executive Committee shall have general supervision of the affairs of
the organization between meetings and is authorized to take action
when action must be taken prior to the next meeting
Section 5. The Executive Committee shall report to the membership all actions
taken between meetings. Except when it is too late to do so any actions
taken by the Executive Committee may be rescinded or modified by
the membership by a majority vote.
ARTICLE X FINANCES
Section 3. This organization has the ability to assess the membership for special
purposes. Assessments shall be determined by a quorum of the
membership at a regularly scheduled meeting.
Section 4. The executive officers shall approve all expenses of the organization.
Section 6. Upon the dissolution of the organization, any remaining funds should be
used to pay any outstanding bills and, with the membership’s approval,
spent for the benefit of the school
Section 2. The amount of contribution shall approve by all the members of the
organization.
Section 5. The purpose of the coin bank is to minimize the expenses of the
members and to be a fund of the organization.
Section 6. The LGMC Junior Financial Executive Institute of the Philippines will
finance the organization activities through coin bank contribution, and
may apply for Student Organization Assistance Program funding if
eligible.
