3.2 Feedback / Comments

i. We asked if what is there preferable sauce; Mayo, Gravy, Sweet &

Sour
Two (2) respondents like CHICKEES to be pared by gravy because
the gravy really suits the taste of the chicken and the coating while
twenty three (23) of the respondents said that CHICKEES is best
served by paring it to mayo because it has the “not so sweet but
sweet” taste and it really helps the product not only look good but to
taste best.
ii. We asked about the taste of our chicken
Over twenty five(25) respondents, only 4 respondents answered it
tastes best and others say that it really needs improvement and
AfforDaBest company would like take an action of that. This result
is a big issue for the company.
iii. We asked our respondents of how the chicken looks and what to
improve
There are three main things to improve that are suggested by the
faculty mostly and these are:
➢ Appearance- The faculty said it looks blackish and said that
it’s not sellable if that so. The product should look fresh and
not dumpy.
➢ Size- It has no exact size. Some are large, some are not.
➢ Taste- All of the respondents said that the product really
needs improvement especially in taste because it has an
ordinary taste. It doesn’t have an y “new” in the product.
One(1) respondent say that “mura ra syag bola2” and that
saddened the company.

E. Marketing Mix

1. Product

Branding – The Chickees brand is mainly taken from the product itself which is
chicken with cheese in it and combined its name to be simplified.
Chickees as a finger food and a rice meal is what we are blending
in with the AfforDaBest Company for the advantage of our
market’s impression about the affordability of our product that
they may be able to adapt immediately not just the product name
but also to what the company is all about. By the time comes
when our prospective customers will eventually purchase our
product, they can easily remember the product’s brand in a way
of how we reflect and improve our product’s quality with our
customer’s better preferences. They can also refer directly their
friends to us once they really like Chickees since they can already
easily remember the product’s name or our branding.
20

Positioning – When it comes with our product positioning, we have given so

much attention about our customer’s health. Chickees in not just
merely an ordinary chicken that we can usually see or taste from
other food businesses, but it is also much more on reminding
everyone not to forget to eat vegetables since nowadays some
people including students in Xavier University are very busy and
would immediately prefer fast food chains for them not to
consume more of their time.

Packaging – Our packaging for Chickees is only disposable paper boxes

for meals. Using this type of packaging has also certain
advantages according from some research that it is a great step
towards preventing food-borne disease when it comes to
sanitation and health advantage, as they are used only once thus
these products significantly lowers the food contamination and
spread of diseases. It could also help us save time and energy
since we want a faster service in processing our customer’s
orders. Also, disposable food packaging is insulated which helps
in keeping the food hot for a long period of time.

advantageous since our stall is located near the supermarkets and cost friendly

49

G. Plant Layout

H. Waste Disposal

Aside from the best taste we serve, we value our consumers’ safety. As we
make our product, many trashes are being compiled and we want that away
from mixing it with the ingredients. To make it happen, the company made a
decision to separate the peeling of cellophanes and vegetables, opening cans,
and other wasteful activities to our cooking area. Thus, that layout may result to
clean and safe CHICKEES.

As a company that still has the heart for our environment, we will follow the
segregation process of waste management not only for the good of the staffs
but also for the common good. We will separate biodegradable,
non-biodegradable, and recyclable. Non-biodegradable like plastics can be
sold at the junk shops and may somehow help us save more money, plastic
bottles can also be placed in the recyclable bin and the company may use it as
decorations and other things.
