Background: Solving Word Problems is one of the issues in mathematics that
need to be addressed. In what specific step or area do students
experienced difficulty in solving word problems? Thus, this research may
sought to answer the queries of the researchers on the specific steps
where students find difficulty in solving word problems.

2. Math Performance and Its Relationship to Math Anxiety

Background: Most learners hate or troubled mathematics very much. What
could be the effect/s of their respond to mathematics performance? This
gives me the interest to determine the effects or impacts of math anxiety
to student’s mathematics performance.

3. Gender Issues in the Classroom: A Comparison of Mathematics Anxiety

Background: According to some, males perform better than females in the
area of mathematics. In this study, the researcher will focus on the issue
behind this statement, the “Why?” and “In what way?” Further, this study
aims to determine the relationship between student’s gender differences to
their anxiety toward mathematics.
