Worked as Technology Support Specialist at Infosys (July 2014 – May 2016), Mysore.
Worked as Project Scientist (February 2013 – June 2014) and Project Trainee (July 2011–
Aug 2012) at National Aerospace Laboratories, Bangalore.
Proficient in FE Modeling using FE Tools like Hypermesh, MSC.Patran, FEMAP v10.3, and
FE analysis Using MSC.Nastran.
Hands on experience in static & fatigue hand calculations for stress justification of
manufacturing concessions against the aircraft design requirements
Extensively worked on stress analysis of Fuselage frame structures and lav-galley support
structures. Exposure to Boeing and Airbus methodology and tools like FAMOSS, FEADMS,
IAS , SA+, ISAMI , Application Composite and Assist
Experience on Dynamic Studies of aircraft landing gear, Stress Analysis and Optimization of
aircraft primary components. Also involved in carrying out Static Aeroelastic Flight load
computation on aircraft structures for different aircraft maneuvers.
Education
Master of Technology in Design Engineering from Dayananda Sagar College of
Engineering, Bangalore affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum, from
year 2010 to 2012. The percentage aggregate of all semesters is 70.75%.
S.S.L.C and P.U.C from Karnataka State Boards in the year 2004 and 2006 with percentages
86.88% and 81.18 % respectively.
Designation: In this work maneuver loads for symmetrical (Nz) and unsymmetrical (roll,
Project Scientist yaw) has been computed using MSC.NASTRAN. The FE mesh has been
modeled in Hypermesh and aero mesh has been modeled in
&
MSC.PATRAN.FLDS
Project Trainee
The shear force diagram, bending moment diagram and the twisting moment
diagram has been drawn for all the load cases calculated.
Client :
ADA and NAL The sized FE primary structures like wing, fin, fuselage and HT from various
design groups are collected. Modal Analysis has been done to check the model
cleanliness of each component individually and also the complete FE assembled
Role :
aircraft model.
1.Stress analysis
Finite Element Modeling of Rudder with composite Properties and modeled
using Hypermesh and optimaized using Nastran and optistruct.
Role :
1.Stress analysis
5. Meshing of LCA Fuselage for Belly Landing Crash Analysis
2.Hand calculations
3. Report Preparation Finite element Model of Light Combat Aircraft composite material fuselage has
4. R & D support been modeled in Hypermesh as per the quality Requirements of Client.
5. Landing Gear
Properties of the model have been updated as required for the analysis to be
vibration Analysis
carried out.
Tools :
6. Dynamic Studies on Aircraft Landing Gear Shimmy
MSC. NASTRAN
MSC. PATRAN
The landing gear stability by various methods like Eigen value criteria, R-H
Hypermesh11
criteria, nyquist criteria and time domain approaches have been carried out by
Optistruct using a mathematical model of Landing gear.
FEMAP v10.3.0
MATLAB R10.0 The effect of tire related parameters like slip and camber angle on Lateral force
, role of pneumatic trail and Tire inflation pressure on shimmy are studied
.Parametric study of landing gear (LG) stability with parameters like vertical
load, CG location & stiffness of strut have been carried out.
The mathematical model for Torsional and lateral freeplay is developed and the
effect of their combination is studied. The effect on shimmy due to aircraft
landing velocity has been studied. Behavior of landing gear stability with non-
linear tire characteristics is studied.
