Giving and receiving feedback

Situation
When our group captain assembled the first team conference to talk about our
task of business unit our group captain instructed us to arbitrarily choose 4
psychometric tests .At that moment our group had various people that have
various personalities and also our group had some conflicts that when we were
choosing the psychometric tests.

Task
After that i propose four personality tests including big five personality, Disc, 16
types and my cultural profile. Our captain approved two tests except 16 types and
Disc.The explanation being that test is an old test along these lines, a few words
related that test had profound significance and it was very difficult to
comprehend.

Action

When we were on meeting we faced some conflicts i thought first we


should get guidance from our lecturer and then choose four
personalities. Lecturer suggested barely any tests for us, Disc, big five
personality and Conflict mode. We previously chose Disc and big five
personality test Accordingly, I recommended proceeding with Conflict
mode at that moment every team member approved my opinion.

Result

we faced many conflicts and we got lot of good and bad feedback after
this at last we finished our group task .At that moment our team
captain and the others were very happy about me the reason why that
the way i acknowledged our team members feedback and how I used
them to improve the proficiency of our group.
