responsibility in a reputed organisation in the design or
execution or teaching of illuminating engineering.
4.4.1 Any person eligible for admission as member of the Society in an
appropriate grade shall be enrolled as a Life Member in that
grade by paying a lumpsum amount as given in Table- 1 in lieu of
the annual subscription.
Any existing member desirous to become a Life Member in the
same grade shall pay the lumpsum amount given in Table-1, but
only after he has cleared all his outstanding dues.
4.4.2 Any Life Member desiring a transfer to higher class of membership
shall pay the difference of lumpsum subscription for the proposed
class and the existing class with appropriate Transfer Fee.
