MECHANICS:

A. Nutrition Month Zumba Video Contest

➢ The 2019 Nutrition Month focuses on healthy lifestyle through proper food choices and
physical activity, with a theme, “Kumain nang wasto at maging aktibo… push natin ‘to!”

➢ One of the activities for the Nutrition Month celebration is the Zumba Video Contest
with the following guidelines:

1. Each Local Nutrition Committee should develop a video of Zumba. The Performance
must be at least 5 minutes but not more than 8 minutes (including warm up and cooling
off sessions). Any excess in time will have three (3) points deduction/ min from the total
score. Video rendered output should be at least 720 HD file with a file type of .MP4 or
.MOV

2. The group shall be composed of a minimum of 10 dancers up to a maximum of 20

dancers.

3. Members of the group may be composed of all males or females or both. Three
points (3) will be deducted if there is an excess or deficient in number of participants.
(at least 18 years old; it’s up to the LNC if it will be mixed employees, BNS, BHWs, and
students.)

4. Music and choreography should be wholesome and lively must not contains any
subliminal, sexually suggestive and vulgar lyrics / language or suggestive act.

5. LNC may submit their entries through the following medium

- You may submit it to our email at Region2@nnc.gov.ph cc:

nestballad@gmail.com using a google drive or yahoo drive as it is expected that the
video file is large.

- Or hand carry it to the National Nutrition Council Region 02 (2 nd Floor PopCom

building, Bagay Road, San Gabriel, Tuguegarao City.

- Deadline of submission will be on 12 July 2019 and will be uploaded to our NNC
page on 15 July 2019.

6. Videos of Zumba will be uploaded to NNC Region II Facebook page

(https://www.facebook.com/nncrehiyondos/) (so please like our facebook page first) and
will be rated according with the following criteria:

▪ Choreography and video aesthetics- 45%

▪ Mastery and Execution- 30%

▪ Choice of music and costume/attire- 15%

▪ Shares and reactions (only people who like the NNC Region II page will
be counted)- 10%

• Reactions- 5%

• Share- 4%

• Comments- 1%

Total 100%
➢ Judges decisions are final and irrevocable. The NNC R02 secretariat will entertain any
concerns but will not affect the decisions of the board of judges.
