CONTENT STANDARD
The learners demonstrate an understanding of how representations are constructed in diverse media types and how they
converged.

LEARNING COMPETENCIES
The learners:
1. Classify contents of different media types.
2. Define media convergence through current examples.
3. Discuss to class how on how a particular individual is portrayed in public using different types of media.

I-OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:
1. Identify media convergence through specific examples.
2. Discuss how some individuals are being portrayed in public.
3. Value the responsibility of every individual when dealing with different media.

DIFFERENT REACTIONS: NBA Finals 2019 (Game 6 last 5 minutes)
1. The students will be shown reactions of the following: personalities who were in the video, people who watched
the game, media men who featured the game.

C. ANALYSIS
Guide Questions:
Q1. What are the possible existing media convergence used in this event?
Q2. How are the reactions different from one person to another?
Q3. How are their reactions affecting the opinion of people?
Q4. Does perspective affect the reaction of people?
Q5. How do different audiences perceive media personalities?
Q6. Do you agree that media personalities have power to direct society?

The learners are to create a drawing or a sketch about how media is affecting their daily lives. At the bottom of the
drawing is a phrase that summarizes their drawing. (Students are allowed to use graphical software applications.)
