GENERAL QUESTIONNAIRE
• Describe yourself using three pics

This has not only been my go to motivation in life but has been me since I came to an understanding of
how things work in this world. As a child, I always wanted a lot of resources to be able to build
something, a lot of material to develop myself and of course a lot of opportunities to grab onto, but
obviously I didn't get a lot, it was a learning sequence for me for at that moment I realized that "it's not
always what you want, it's what you have and what you make of it." clearly this phrase isn't out of a
Shakespeare play, but it still works. Also, a double entendre is this being one of the first memes that
made me laugh when I felt alone a year and a half ago. Now, running ahead 1.5 years straight I’m still
sad (**In Ross’s voice …. “ I’m Fineeee”) and addicted to classic memes and sarcasm. Well, what
could you expect anyway.

Well, the picture you see above pretty much encapsulates my life. These things are like oxygen to my
lifeless body. I’ve always loved Hip-Hop before I even came to know what it is after I did although I had
to love it more because it has those things that I’ve lived for. I’ve never actually professionally learned
anything but I realized that if I am happy doing something I would do it regardless of the resources or
the result and that is applicable in my life too. To tell you the gist of it, Dancing is my passion since third
grade, I ain’t no professional in Singing, never learnt anything but still have been doing this for myself
for about 5 years or so. Coming to another part of it is Rapping not that old of a passion it’s still new
about 3 years but it’s where I let my feelings pour out on paper. Music to my ears makes me forget
everything, its just those beats that always get me rolling. Although I don’t showcase these talents to a
lot to people, I just do these for myself but of course these always help you get an edge in parties, so
that’s a pro.

This is me of course a night before writing this application and I know what you’re thinking how did this
happen, that’s just the marvel fanboy in me quoting Thor. Anyway, I had a night stay with my buds at
my home. A bonfire, some drinks and music, but I felt something was missing so I went downstairs got
my kite came up and went on with it. I wasn’t drunk it’s just these impulsive moments that might
describe my “paranormal” activities at times. I have always lived as a pessimist but these things I
believe make me happy and satisfied, I never found a logical reason to these but just satisfaction out of
these moments. I guess you don’t need those reasons always just the feeling of being alive is enough.

• Role of Team Leader

To me a Team Leader is easy to describe but hard to implement. Cambridge describes it as the person
in charge of the team, that’s the easiest one I could come off. But according to me Team Leader is the
person who you can count on anytime. The general qualities of course being a good leader, supportive,
motivator and provides the direction to achieve the goal are always there. However, for me the most
important one is the trust of the members in the Leader, that even if somebody falls behind or trips the
leader is there to back them up. The leader empowers others to be the best version of themselves and
be the leader of the next generation. A leader’s responsibility is also one to ensure that the integrity of
the team is maintained and each member of the team feels comfortable and are growing together. As
the phrase describes “A leader always leads from the front but stays at the back.” This line always gets
to me seeing the pack of wolf with the leader watching and protecting from the back ensuring no one if
left behind.

• Engagement Plan for first three months

As a Team Member I have learned a lot from my Team Leader Chelsee, from her I’ve learned how to
maintain synergy in the whole team even when times might be rough. I therefore had already decided
to implement what I’ve learned and improve it further more efficiently. Here’s the plan that I will
implement to better our team.

• First of all, to make them comfortable being there first time in AIESEC, I would let them rest off
with the terminology and let the be more open with the team members and myself. This would
be the stepping stone to build trust and respect among the members of the team.
• Secondly, educating in the meetings about working of AIESEC and our making them know
about our department and their roles and expectations.
• After these, I believe the team would be nicely bonded with each of them having their roles
known in the team and having known each other too. They should then be focusing on their
targets and bettering the Team as a whole too.
• Occasional chill-outs and one to ones to me are the best way to now each other. Moreover,
those small team bonding tasks are the best to build the best team ever.
• In these three months the team would be really nicely bonded along with their roles in the first
month and would work along in the coming second and third months by achieving their targets
and out growing themselves too.

I don’t think there’s a formula to make a great a team, a team is as good as its members and their
synergy. Therefore, building the team would be my main motive before focusing on achieving our goals
as a whole. By the end of my term, if each member feel they’ve learned and grown with results then I
feel I would have done a good part as the leader.

• How to make members achieve their goals

To be very particular with my thoughts, form what I have observed in my time being a member learning
from the process, I have made to know some steps that can be taken ahead to improve and help
achieve the personal and organizational goals of each member. The Leadership Development
Assessment being the starting point of measuring the goals embedding the values of AIESEC being the
first. Secondly discussing about their purpose of joining the organization and expectations would be the
very first step in the timeline of achieving their goals. I believe that the organizational goals can be
achieved by the team only if they are motivated with the results of their personal growth as only then
one would be motivated enough to actually give into something. Therefore, having more one to ones
and giving them small weekly tasks specifically build to efficiently improve their goals and coherently
the organizational ones would be the consecutive efforts that I would lay down as the concrete steps to
this process. Also checking the team on a daily basis would help improve their work and providing them
with the factual data every week by maintaining their work throughout would definitely help them
increase their commitment towards the organization.

• Why do you want to be on the MB

Ever since I’ve joined AIESEC one thing that has been set up in my mind is to become a leader coming
out of this organization. For me it is as simple as that to improve myself further believing that I could
benefit the organization with my efforts. I’ve had past experiences as a leader and hence I am
competent with the standards of any team. Also being a member of the Management Board is
obviously a greater achievement along with being bonded with AIESEC and therefore enhancing my
knowledge regarding the same. Further, I believe I have the potential and the qualities to lead a team
and hence a perfect candidate to be on the Management Board of AIESEC in Jaipur.

Here I have listed few of the many goals that I tend to achieve in my term:

• Being determined and getting others more determined in efficiently improving the product and
the organization as a whole as I feel if we are giving yourself totally in then the current
performance of the organization can be easily improved.
• Educating myself more about AIESEC as whole organization and further improving my product
and business knowledge simultaneously in the process.
• Making the best out of this opportunity is to empower my team and get more enthusiastic
leaders out of the members and also achieving the personal and organizational targets as a
part of the process as I feel these are the most important things I would have to achieve in my
term.

• Evaluate 2 strengths and weaknesses

Alright heading directly into the question, I’ve always evaluated my strengths and weakness based on
different tasks and projects. However, I’ve always tried to improve my strengths and decline the
weaknesses. But here area few that I have found to be frequently occurring all the projects and major
situations.

• Strengths

➢ One of my major strengths is my self confidence and public speaking. These two are the
ones that have helped me in many situations consecutively and always gives me and
edge over my competitors. I try to build upon it more given every opportunity.

➢ As mentioned earlier, I’ve always been a spontaneous person. I like to improvise in

situations and that makes me a good deal for most of the managerial projects. Further,
having coordinated in a lot of small events have made me realize the necessity of this
quality in a person. This is something that you garner and master over with experiences
and that is why I look out for more opportunities to prove and grow myself.

• Weaknesses

➢ Not being Punctual has been one of my greatest weaknesses that I’ve tried to overcome
and has been successful in the process a lot but also failed a lot of times. However I still
am consistent with my efforts in overcoming this.

➢ Not sleeping enough is one of my major problems, it is not because I study or work a lot
but just because I’m unable to sleep a lot of times. I believe that having a planned
schedule is one of the better ways to be more disciplined in life and for that it is
necessary to sleep enough and I have been working on that as well.

• Reason for choosing this department

This was my first department after entering this organization. I have studied this product up close and
have come to an understanding of the product through experience and theory. Also this would be my
very first choice as this being an entrepreneurial product applies majorly to my interests. This product is
one of the most growing products in the world and I believe that I can efficiently contribute to it and
further better it for our LC as well. This product has a lot of potential to grow and I would love to be a
part of this process too.

• Tap different markets.

Throughout my term as a member I have studied different markets theoretically and I would love to tap
those markets by conducting seminars and better our UR relations. The different markets that I would
be tapping are:

➢ Colleges: Form where 80% of the approvals are underlined. Therefore, in my term I am planning
about 30 approvals from colleges itself. This being a non peak season is the reason that I am
being realistic with the targets.

➢ Meetups: These are different market from where ambitious and unexperienced entrepreneurs
are found. Hence it is a great market to tap on to. Therefore, 5 approvals can be planned onto
this.

➢ Internships in corporate companies: A lot of potential candidates are working there and
therefore can be tapped easily. 5 approvals can also be scheduled from here.

• On ground campaign

I would be doing the following:

1. Tapping different UR
2. Getting more Seminars
3. Personal Experience sharing
4. Experience and product event
5. More B2C help and spread need

• Synergy with OGV department

IT is easy to do this just know that our product is same but with different target audience and
therefore continue with selling those.
