Dear Water District Employees,Union and Associations

Warm greetings!

On July 1, 2019, this Representation filed House Resolution No. 10 entitled “Resolution Urging
the House of Representatives, Through the Committee on Government Enterprise and
Privatization, to Investigate, in Aid of Legislation, the Privatization of Water Utilities in the
Different Parts of the Country, particularly the Privatization of Metropolitan Water Works And
Sewerage System (MWSS) and the Local Water Districts, and, its Impact to the Provision Of
Water Services And Security Of Tenure Of Water Districts Employees ” as one of Bayan Muna
Party’s priority measures for the 18th Congress.

In line with this, we will be holding a Public Consultation among regular and non- regular
employees in the Local Water Districts on August 22, 2019, from 1:00pm at RVM Conference
Room 5, North Wing, House of Representatives, Batasan Hills, Quezon City.
