WORK INSTRUCTION FOR FILTER HIGH PRESSURE TEST

ALL THE SPECIFACTIONS AND PROCESS IS AS PER ISO 4548-6:2012(E)

APPARATUS/INSTRUMENT REQUIRED
1. HIGH PRESSURE TEST M/C,
LIQUIDE USED
1. ISO GRADE 22 (SAE 5W OIL) OR MOBIL/LUBRICATING OIL.

TESTING PROCEDURE

1. Fit the filter on the fixture and tighten properly,

2. Starts the oil pump and increase oil pressure and outlet valve should
open till the entire air remove from the system,
3. Close the outlet valve and the door of the testing chamber,
4. Raise the oil pressure gradually and check the leakage from the
filter, if no leakage than increase oil pressure till the leakage occurs,
5. Release oil pressure to zero and remove filter and check the details
of the filter failure.
6. Note the Reading of Pressure at which Filter Burst.

Rubber Gasket/Seal Must be Checked before the Test.
