AFFIDAVIT

I, Pancho M. Nasave, a member of the Philippine National Police, presently

assigned at the Manila Headquarters, Philippine National Police, United Nations
Avenue, Ermita, Manila, after having been duly sworn to in accordance with law, do
hereby depose and state that:

1. I undertook an investigation located at the Manila Hotel, 1 Rizal Park, Ermita,

Manila where the victim, Viceral P. Alawit-Perez , was shot dead.

2. Said investigation stemmed from the report of Ivana C. Alawit, mother of the
victim, which was referred to our office against Ion X. Perez, of legal age, married,
Filipino and residing at 18 P. Noval Street, Sampaloc, Manila.

3. Based on the report, the suspect shot the victim, who were recently married, at
the Manila Hotel on or about about 11:30 in the evening of September 10, 2019.

4. Upon receipt of the said report, I proceeded on the area. At about 2:30 in the
morning of September 11, 2019, and thereat, I saw the persons of Berna M. Abugbug,
one of the hotel staffs present during the commitment of the crime.

5. Upon interview on Berna M. Abugbug, she alleged that she heard loud
confrontation inside the hotel room of the victim and suspect. After thirty (30) minutes,
they heard a gunshot. So, she, with the other staffs, went to their room where they saw
the suspect left immediately without even saying anything.

6. Upon going to the said hotel room, I recovered a Caliber .38 firearm with one
empty bullet shell and found traces of blood.
 7. IN TRUTH TO THESE I HEREUNTO affixed my signature below to the
