Instruction:
(1) Answer the following question: What is discourse and what is discourse analysis?
(2) Find an article in Jakarta Post, printed or from the website, from January till December
2019 Edition with 10 paragraphs minimum, and then do a discourse analysis by finding the
cohesions and the coherences in the article that you have been chosen!
Note:
(1) To answer question No. 1, your answer must use references and made a bibliography. And you
must enclose the copy of references.
(2) To answer No. 2, type your analysis using Times New Roman font, size 12, 1.5 space.
(3) Enclose your chosen article.
Caution: Submit your paper on January 8th 2020 on my desk in Ruang Kerja Dosen 3 on
09.00 am till 11.00 am. You must submit your assignment by yourself and cannot
be represented by anyone else. You must also sign the attendance list. Those
who are late are considered not taking the final examination (at 11.01 am I will be
leaving my office).
