Cyan rarely had the chance to get the attention of his own parents...

Their mother was only worried about his twin, Cylix and their younger brother, Elixir; Their own father
was too busy running the company to give him the attention and the love that he needed as a child. He
was also home-schooled so he never had friends of some sort. If it wasn’t for Manang Ellie, he doubts
he would be able to handle the sadness of being alone back then.

He wasn’t able to play much with his brothers because Elixir wasn’t really an outgoing child, he
refused to play with him and Cylix... he wasn’t allowed to play because of his heart problem. He loves
his twin brother because Cylix was a very good child and because of that, he learned to adjust
everything for Cylix. He gave up everything he wanted to make Cylix feel that he wasn’t a burden to
him.

They would just talk and when it’s time for Cylix to rest and take his medicines... he’s alone again.
When he was finally in his legal age, he was able to go out on his own. He made friends and had a lot
of girlfriends. He learned to drink and to party. He learned to be free.

Him and his twin brother Cylix, parted ways. Cyan went to travel around the world to see the things he
wasn’t able to see when he was a child, he doesn’t know where Cylix went but when Cylix came back
to the Philippines, he was like a different person. He became very outgoing and started hanging out
with him. Cylix even helped him when he almost lost his way ten years ago, when he attempted to
kidnap Alice but everything was just a front.

Cylix used him. Cylix used that kidnapping thing to trap him into something that he didn’t want to do.

What happened was, when Cylix was out abroad, he pretended to be him.

He posed as Cyan Hernandez to the girl he fell in love with.

When I asked him why he did that, he confessed...

“I’m dying and I don’t want to leave her just like that. She’s a very wonderful person Cyan, you’ll learn
to love her... please? It’s my last dying wish...”

I felt manipulated right at that moment but I couldn’t do anything because he said he was dying.

It’s just like he’s back to his old ways... he adjusted for Cylix again.

It was really painful to see Cyan crying and begging to her to give him a chance. It was heart
wrenching, it’s as if her heart is being stabbed again and again by a very sharp knife.

Alice bit her lower lip and sighed. Nanlaki ang kanyang mga mata nang biglang pumasok si Cyan sa
kwarto at biglang nagtama ang kanilang mga mata. Nangunot ang kanyang noo nang naunang umiwas
ng tingin si Cyan.

She heard him clear his throat before talking.

“I’ll just get a change of clothes and leave.” Cyan said without looking at her. He opened the cabinet
on the right side of the room and got some clothes.

“Where are you going to sleep?” tanong niya rito. Bigla itong napatigil sa pagkuha ng mga damit sa
cabinet.

“Don’t worry I won’t sleep beside you tonight. There’s a spare room on the third floor, I’ll sleep there
starting tonight.”

Bigla siyang nainis sa sinabi nito. Akala ba niya humihingi ito ng chance? Bakit ito lumalayo ngayon?

“I should go, you should sleep. Goodnig--”

Hindi pa natapos ang mga sinasabi nito ay nagsalita na siya.

“Akala ko gusto mo ng chance? Bakit mo ako nilalayuan? Toyoin ka ghorl?” tumaas ang kanyang isang
kilay.

Umaandar ang pagiging maldita niya ngayon kay Cyan. Toyoin kasi e!

“You… want me to sleep here?”

“Oo nga!”

Halatang nagulat din ito sa kanyang sinabi.

“T-Tsaka ang laki ng kwarto na ‘to, nakakatakot mag-isa! Paano kapag bigla nalang may magnanakaw
na pumasok tapos pinatay ako dito?”

Rason niya kay Cyan. All of a sudden his gloomy face started changing. He smiled and after a few
seconds his smile turned into laughter. She was taken aback by Cyan’s actions.

It was the first time he heard Cyan laughed that loud…

She smiled.

“You are one hell of a paranoid pregnant woman!” he said and continued laughing. Natawa na rin siya.

“God, that’s so funny.”

Binitawan nito ang mga damit na nasa kamay nito at ni lock ang pintuan. Cyan suddenly removed his
shirt and crawled on the bed. Nanlaki ang kanyang mga mata.
Omaygad plok plok agad?

She closed her eyes and prepared herself for a kiss when that kiss didn’t come. Iminulat niya ang
kanyang mga mata at napatingin sa kanyang gilid. Cyan was grinning from ear to ear.

“You thought I was going to kiss you right?”

Biglang nag-init ang kanyang mga pisngi sa hiya.

“So the thing about pregnant woman being horny is a fact?”

“S-Shut up!”

Cyan let out a giggle and she gasped when he encircled his arms around her waist and pulled her closer
to him. He kissed her lips, up to the tip of her nose and to her forehead and hugged her tight.

Napangiti siya sa ginawa ni Cyan. Despite of his strong physique, Cyan Hernandez is just a child who
needs some love and attention inside. He’s a clingy guy who loves hugs and kisses.

“Alice.” he called out her name.

“Hmm?”

“I love you.” he whispered on her ear and kissed her cheeks.

She felt her heart started beating so fast. Para bang tumakbo siya ng ilang laps sa isang oval track sa
sobrang bilis ng pagtibok ng kanyang puso. Para rin siyang mauubusan ng hininga.

She bit her lower lip. Being in Cyan’s arms made her feel safe and loved.

She loves this feeling. There is sexual tension between them, just love and peace.

She smiled and hugged Cyan back until they both fell asleep together.

From the moment they woke up until they fell asleep, Cyan never left her side. He even cooks her own
food kahit gaano iyon ka-weird. His actions changed and the mansion’s doors are not locked anymore.

She wasn’t feeling trapped anymore, she feels like she’s already home…
Everything was going smooth between them and their relationship was progressing when a phone call
changed it all.

“Hello Mom?”

Cyan smiled and answered the phone, he set it in a loudspeaker mode but the smile on Cyan’s face
disappeared as soon as he heard his mother’s crying voice on the other line.

“Mom! What’s happening?!”

“CYAN! PLEASE GO HOME NOW, YOUR BROTHER JUST HAD A HEART ATTACK!”
