INTRODUCTION

Given the demand for graduates seeking technical college preparation, technologist or

specifically can successfully perform in the organizational management of production and
technology in producing goods or services, and also has the ability to investigate on the
technological problems and industrial development of the country.

Industrial University of Santander:

environmental and economic social development of the country.

° offices and engineering projects performing advisory functions and management


consulting.

° industrial, commercial and service, public or private, carrying out senior management of
the organization, such as general managers and managers of functional areas.

A: RELIGIOUS AND POLITICAL ASPECTS OF THE PROGRAM

RELIGIOUS: will be a professional with high humanistic training partner dedicated to the
development of human values and to undertake a project with the necessary mental
strength and personality and self-esteem suitable product values and inculcated ethics by
managers from different universities in the practical route of the race.

These universities inculcate values that were planted by the beautiful relationship of God
and man as sole creator and lord of life thanks to the today many of our goals are met. In
some universities like UNIMAGDALENA they will give vital importance to religion as being
comprehensive training.

POLITICIANS: the graduate through their education will be in the ability to create and
strengthen international relations with foreign companies knowing and respecting the
security policies in each and devote himself to the maximum development of their
environment by implementing policies of commercial, industrial safety, environmental
and Social.

You must create a system that protects the physical and emotional integrity and establish
the necessary security to protect the lives of workers and thus achieve encourage
increased production.

B: REGIONAL ASPECTS AND CULTURAL PROGRAM

REGIONAL: professionals will be able to create and design projects that allow optimization
of resources and industrial economic development of the region to which belongs each
university. They must meet the social, economic and even health field to implement
projects that satisfy different needs and thus to encourage national and international
development needs.

CULTURAL professionals should have professional ethics training and must meet all social
and cultural aspects that has developed its region and its environment to implement a
project according to their cultural needs.

C: positive comment or negative special aspects.

COMMENTS:

Universities surveyed in the report have a comprehensive training, are applied based on
business needs, industrial society.

They are able to create projects to increase economic and industrial development of the
regional, national environment and to enter the global industry in order to increase
production and this can generate a higher rate of jobs that benefit society in general.

All the above show that industrial engineering at each of the universities is a program with
a high development of practices, courses and all ethical personal training applied to
sustainable development without compromising social integrity and without damaging or
affecting the environment .

4. RECOMMENDATIONS AND OBSERVATIONS

a. Improve aspects of the Program of Industrial Engineering at the University


of the Magdalena (if you consider that the program does not require
improvement, explain why).

I personally believe that the industrial engineering program at the University of


the Magdalena so far does not require improvements itself, since it has a very
good projection to the students that allow us to be a successful, complete and
high-quality professionals.

i. Improve aspects of the Mission and Vision of the Industrial Engineering Program
at the University of the Magdalena.

MISSION:
In the mission also University you have an excellent projection into the future
and how they evolve the environment which surrounds us such as forming
quality whole people, with leadership skills, civic values and professional skills
from the discipline of Industrial Engineering, oriented to propose and
implement solutions to the problems of the Colombian Caribbean region.

ii. Aspects to improve the occupational profile and professional Industrial


Engineering Program at the University of the Magdalena.

VIEW:
Vision currently manages is entirely appropriate for us students and will allow
us to be professionals nationally and internationally recognized for our
personal, professional and intellectual capacities. In addition to generating
disciplinary, interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary, relevant to the problems of
companies in the Colombian Caribbean region with global vision knowledge.

PROFESSIONAL PROFILE AND OCCUPATIONAL:


The profile is something which I personally like very much, because like me I can
play in different work fields, performing in any of these a completely successful
and professional work such as Industrial Plant Manager,
Production Manager, Operations Coordinator, Coordinator Warehouse and
Inventory Analyst Cost Operations Support Professional Design and Product
Development, Designer and Process Analyst, among others.

iii. Aspects to improve the curriculum of Industrial Engineering Program at the


University of the Magdalena.

CURRICULUM:
In the curriculum if we consider that perhaps we should improve a bit in the
sense of some subjects which to me as a professional I will not help much, nor
will I need at the time of serving in "X" work, I think maybe you can focus a little
more in some fields that allow us to be more professional oriented Industrial
Engineering.

iv. Aspects to improve the curriculum of Industrial Engineering Program at the


University of the Magdalena.

TheMagdalena University has one of the best public services with respect to
learning such industrial engineering follows that has very good machinery,
teachers, environment, etc.

b. Improve aspects of the Industrial Engineering Program in Higher Education


Institutions of Colombia.

1. Learning can have a level more demanding in terms of the first semester as well
who do not agree with matter can be removed immediately and not make the
mistakes of many which is expected to 7 semester addition also was very well as
students who do not have good foundations in those semesters regios are made to
face the that category

2. We can also implement practical method we are to have open practices for the
aspiring mechanical engineer develops in the field something like PRE labor
practices and thus would be less as management errors caused this.
3. Also something important as we know is the calculus course or materials related
to this. Much of the university population they have problems even though the
university gives them a course of pre calculus, etc. by monitors for some it is not
them enough either for their time or not knowing for these people, the university
should have a website with topics with teachers from the same institution
explaining to him to learn student with teacher more you like that in their tests no
mistake or lose
5. DIFFICULTIES OF THE REPORT

a. Access to information

Pages some universities did not provide information as professional profile,


objectives and curriculum. We had to make phone calls and send e electronic
access to this information.

b. Capacity of members in tabulation, I use Excel analysis.

All members have knowledge and experience with these programs, especially Excel
and Word which facilitated the development of the work.

c. Capacity for teamwork

All contribute important and necessary aspects and we could do the job seriously
and qualities discipline 0del good teamwork.
CONCLUSIONS

This work allowed us to do a detailed analysis of the universities, which all are aimed at
creating professionals who are human, creative, able to perform their job well.

Despite the regional location of universities we analyzed observed that each meets the
requirements of educational standards issued by the Ministry of Education, ICFES, ACOFI,
etc.

Compliance with the law will open the doors so they can offer careers that besides being
practical will pass not only the scientific and technological progress of the country but of
the world.

Institutional philosophy differs in each, so not yet out of the main objective of education
which makes them leaders in their field.
