I. JOB OBJECTIVE

To ensure that all plant electrical equipment is operational and conforms to safety and quality
standards.

II. KEY ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

Reports to :
Supervises : Shift Supervisor, Spares and Planning Engineer, Staff and Technician

III. KEY CUSTOMERS

1. All Departments

IV. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Evaluate the performance of the Supervisor, Spares and Planning Engineer and Staff.

2. Updates top management on issues and concerns regarding production, maintenance


and recommends corrective and preventive actions for their approval.
3. Confers with the Production, Mechanical Maintenance on problems with plant equipment
and plans corrective measures.

4. Convey management decisions, goals, and objectives to all Electrical Maintenance (EM)
Department Personnel.
5. Handle industrial relations and personnel problems as the need arises; matters requiring
Disciplinary Actions (DA) are referred to the Human Resources (HR) Department.
6. Confers with Supervisor, Staff Engineer, Technicians, and Contractors concerning the
planning of all maintenance works, tracking acquisition maintenance, calibration of tools,
instruments, equipment, and monitor the conformance of practices to quality standards.
7. Participates on equipment troubleshooting and decide on action to take for the repair or
restoration of equipment.
8. Evaluates equipment and or spare parts substitute and sourcing; confer with equipment
suppliers on the technical aspect of the equipment to be replaced.

9. Prepares equipment rehabilitation scheduling and tracking.

VIII. MINIMUM QUALIFICATION GUIDELINES

Education : Preferably BSEE or BSECE graduate.
