Jaguar / Land Rover are now supported for dealer level diagnostics &
Vehicles diagnostic tool module programming using SDD software and the Mangoose JLR.

Here is the instruction on programming spare key for Jaguar or Land
rover with JLR mangoose SDD.
Equipment needs:
VCDS Expert
JLR mangoose cable and Mangoose SDD software (latest v139)
‫ﺑرﻧﺎﻣﺞ‬
Original key
Spare key with blade housing transponder part
cardiag.co.uk A laptop running Win XP or Win 7 O/S
‫ورﺷﺔ إﺻﻼح ﺳﯾﺎرات‬ Insert the spare key with the appreciate bladed into the vehicle key hole
Power on the laptop/computer
Connect the mangoose cable with vehicle via OBD socket
Chiptuningtools Europa Installed mangoose SDD diagnostic software
‫ﺳﯾﺎرات وطﺎﺋرات وﻗوارب‬ Once the SDD software is loaded, the system will detect vehicle VIN
automatically

MB Star Diagnostic The system will display vehicle information

There are some function options at the bottoms of the screen, like Pre
Delivery Inspection, Diagnostics, and Service Functions etc. Select
“Service Functions” option

‫ﺳﯾﺎرات‬ Another screen opens again collecting vehicle specifications.
Click “RECOMMENDATIONS” Tab at the next top left hand screen
corner.
Jaguar XJ8 1997-2003
Select “SECURITY” the very first table deals
‫ﺳﯾﺎرات‬
Select “PROGRAM NEW TRANSPONDERS” option. (Do not use the
option to program additional transponders - for that option you need 2
Rocky Mountain Jaguar Club
working keys and are adding a 3rd.)
Click “RUN” button on the right side of the option
‫ﻣؤﺳﺳﺔ‬
Check the IMMOBILIZER LIGHT's behavior
Once the process is complete, the SDD system screen would prompt
Volvo C30 T5 either completed successfully or process has failed.
‫ﺳﯾﺎرات‬ 1) If the system displays complete successfully information, insert the
new key into the ignition and turn to 2# position. And the new key will
extinguish immobilizer light and start the car.

2) If the key programming process fails, your original key should still be
