1. What is your favourite product and why? (please do not pick Apple products or mobile
phones).
- My favourite product is Olx. Olx being one of the county's largest online marketplace for pre-
owned goods has provided a online for buying and selling services and goods such as electronics,
fashion items, furniture, household goods, cars and bikes.
In the current time when everything we require is happening with just click of button. Let it be food ,
groceries , clothes, Electronics etc but what after to with these once they are no longer needed. This
is when OLX comes in picture by creating a digital platform for the users to connect with eachother
to buy or sell items. With a tag line Bech De OLX has really came a long way interms of creating a
marketplace.
With the introduction of CASHMYCAR by olx , its going to be a tough completion for other certified
online portal like Cash My Car, Cars24 etc.

2. If you are given unlimited resources to make your favourite product better, what are the
- Below are the top 3 things which I would be taking up as part of improvement process:
1. Making sure that we present a required content on a screen or maintain the right richness of
content
3. Improvising on the UI which is currently not reactive & unattractive for users to perform task.

3. If you can only build one of the three, what would it be? and explain your thoughts on
the priority.
- If given an opportunity the one pain point which I will 1st take would be improving the richness
of the content.
Since the content what a user views at the very 1st time he/she enters the application plays a
vital role in deciding on what step they will take next. A bad UI will leave a user in confused state
of mind making them to leave the platform while a good UI will make it a smooth experience for
them to not only go through the modules they are looking for but also explore the other aspects
of the application.
Currently in OLX as soon as you enter all you see is a list of recommendations while the category
selection is on the top which actually makes the user annoyed. Since they enter the app with a
clear mindset of what they are exactly looking for interms of buying or selling and its after this
that they would love to go through other recommendations.
The biggest flaw which I as a user sees in the content of the ads published on OLX would be the
location of the seller which is actually represented in a very vague way. Rather then mentioning
the exact location it show a circle which cover almost 3 km radius of the actual seller location.

a. Measuring basic usage of the new feature by the help of below metrics
b. Analyze the impact of the new feature on retention – We need to compare the retention of the
cohort of users who shared view the contents vs. those who did not.
c. Customer Satisfaction response – We need ask users how satisfied they are with particular
features, with their experience today and of course overall. Since in the real-world people are more
likely to talk about their frustrations, rather than how satisfied they are, a good approach can be to
ask users to rate their experience on a 5-point or 7-point scale, from very dissatisfied to very
satisfied.

- Please find the attached PRD and below are the Acceptance Criteria:
1. Home screen must be having most popular categories or categories which I have previously
searched products from.
2. Each of the ads needs to have more informative information – Title and Product details and its
category.
3. The home screen should only show me the ads of my location (based on Geo location)
4. Each ad needs to show the exact location or location which is to the nearest precision.
5. When type a content in the search bar then the result shown should be categorised into section of
Exact term and possible matches
6. If not result is found for a searched content then we should show them option to search the
product in all the categories. Because it might be possible the seller would have tagged this product
to some other category.
