MEMORANDUM
1. Reference: Memorandum from Tabina MPS dated August 14, 2018 with subject
same as above.
3. Initial investigation disclosed that the child along with his siblings were left at the
care of their grandparents, since their parents had separated and the child’s mother was
in Manila applying for a job abroad. The child was last seen at about 08:00 AM of same
day, left alone sleeping at the house of his grandparents, his elder siblings had went to
school and his grandfather who serves as his guardian have attended their sari-sari store
located about 30-40 meters away from their house. Accordingly, as the child get up,
normally, he will go to his grandparents store to have his meal or to the house of his aunt
besides his grandparents’ house. On or about 1:00 PM this day, his grandfather wondered
why his grandson failed to show-up at their store, thereby, they went on to look after his
grandson and at about 08:15 PM, finally their neighbors found the lifeless body of the
child submerge at the mini fish pond of their neighbor. The child since unattended is
believed to have curiously played thereat and eventually fell and failed to recover at
