 What was the event about?


 A two(2) day intensive course is offered in partnership with WoundPedia™,
through a generous educational grant form Calmoseptine®.
 The Objective is to provide an introductory educational experience for the
generalist health care professional on the essential of basic skin wound
care practices.

 Participants will:
o Assess the skin in a structural manner
o Integrate basic wound healing physiology into clinical assessment and
designing a care plan for skin/ wound treatment
o Demonstrate appropriate chronic wound preventative measure (pressure
injuries/ ulcers),(diabetic foot complication, lower limb edema and other
etiologies)
o Stimulate clinical practice to develop skin and wound care related basic
skills.
 Goal and Objective:
o To provide a basic skin and wound care education experience for the
generalist health care professional.
