Terms & Conditions


1. For New Registrations
The First Semester Fees, Annual Fee and School Deposit are payable at the time of registration. This serves to secure a place for your child in Cempaka
Cheras. Due date of registration and payment will be stated in the Offer Letter (via e-mail) if your child’s application is successful. In the event you decide
not to accept the offer, all fees paid will be forfeited.

2. Fees Lock-In
Cempaka Cheras’s tuition fees are locked-in from the point of entry. This means that these students will pay according to Year of Entry.

3. Sibling Discount
A Sibling Discount on the Tuition Fees is offered to families with two or more children attending Cempaka Cheras. All sibling(s) must continue to
complete Form 5 with Cempaka Schools to be entitled for this discount. The sibling discount will be discontinued should the student transfer to
Cempaka Damansara Heights campus.

4. Final Semester Exemption


With effect from 2019, all Form 5 students who have been at the school for 10 semesters or more, for an uninterrupted period will enjoy a final
semester fee exemption, i.e. no semester fee charges for their second semester in their Form 5 year. (Students graduating in Form 5, 2019 will benefit if
they qualify as stated above.)
5. Payment Mode
A. Cheque. Crossed and made payable to Cempaka Schools (1983) Sdn Bhd. Please write the student’s name, current class & student ID (as it appears on
the invoice) on the back of the cheque.

B. Direct Bank Transfer, the important details are as below :

6. Late Payment
Late payment penalty on the amount outstanding is at the rate of 5% per annum calculated on daily rests. A student will not be able to attend school if
their account remains outstanding 7 (seven) days into the new semester. (This includes post-dated cheques dated after these dates)

Important Notes
1. Semester fees do not include books, uniform, stationery, external examination fees, additional software and optional co-curricular activities.
2. Secondary school students are expected to have an Apple laptop or Chromebook as part of their school supplies.
3. Fees are non-transferrable to another student’s account, nor can they be transferred to another semester or year. All semester fees are non-refundable
once the semester starts.
4. The School reserves the absolute right and discretion to revise the terms and conditions herein from time to time including any part of the Fee Schedule
after giving prior notice of no less than 3 months. Semester fees will be increased on an annual basis by between 3% and 6%.
