01 | Introduction
2020 | Anthology Architectural Sketch Competition
The architecture of today is rapidly leaning towards digital representation and
media as technology takes the wheel of our civilization's progress. In the face
of human's preference for automation, sketching still maintains its place as
architects' universal method of conveying ideas into tangible form. It is a
powerful design process that prevails even in the absence of technology.
This Competition aims to champion sketching as a common ground for
architects and non-architects alike to communicate architecture through their
own lenses. It encourages people to visualize, to demonstrate, and to illustrate
design using their own hands.
