STATION OBJECTIVES
JANUARY-DECEMBER 2019
ZPC Munyati Power Station strives to generate electricity using world class
standards for Safety, Health, Environment and Quality management. Munyati
Power Station will achieve this through optimal utilisation of resources,
application of continual improvement, employee empowerment and participation
and management commitment. In pursuance of this goal we are committed:

1. To achieve a Lost Time Injury Frequency Rate of not more

than 2 by 31 December 2019.
2. To generate power in an environmentally sustainable manner
and meet monthly sent out targets, and an annual target of
142.35GWH sent out by 31 December 2019.
3. To increase and maintain plant availability from the current
45% to 65% by 31 December 2019.
4. To reduce cost of generation from 30cents/KWh to
18cents/KWh by 31 December 2019.
5. To improve staff satisfaction index from 3.4 to 3.7 by 31
December 2019.
