Discrimination is an important inequality/justice in society today and steps need to be taken

to address the issue. One of the main forms of discrimination is slavery, which goes still in the

southern U.S. and many different parts of the world. Workers were usually black people

“removing seeds from raw cotton by hand” (amnesty),Working hard labor for white people with

little or no payment. Another organization that needs to be talked about is discrimination in the

work place. Women are usually paid less than men and are seen as less hardworking and weak.

Places want younger girls that are pretty and they even let a hardworking women of 8 years go

just because she wasn’t pretty enough and wasn’t determined or confident. “In 2011 there was an

opportunity that was taken away”( Khan academy), she was going to get a raise, then it was

given to a different person because she changed genders. It made her feel unworthy when they

didn’t accept the decision she made.

An organization called the IMADR to put an end to discrimination, All together their

thought process through that cannot be achieved without addressing the cause of it. They try to

talk about the issue and get to the bottom of what the cause was. The EEO organization wanted

an equal opportunity for everyone. They worked to make sure that everyone had an equal

paychecks and they focused on people’s accommodations

We need to stop discriminating by taking a stand, Taking a stand means to stand up for

yourself, If someone is discriminating against then tell a trusted person. If you see someone

discriminating against someone else, go up and fight for them and make them feel wanted and

safe. This is for everyone and we all have the right to be on this earth and we shouldn’t be told to

leave home just because of the way we are. Reach out to anyone, you are stronger than any of the

people that are discriminating . we need to focus on our strengths and always know that we are

worth everything.

We need to come together and seriously put an end to discrimination. It is so hurtful for the

people who witness it and the people who are the ones that are being discriminated against.

People can become depressed from people who bully them because of how they are.

Discrimination makes people feel very insecure and unworthy of themselves because it tears

them down, making them feel bad about who they are.

Society is too focused on building businesses, But they dont pay attention to one of the

main problems, discrimination. There is more discrimination in the world than there has ever

been. There is equality discrimination, gender discrimination, race, and slavery. This is an

important topic that everyone should know about because the world that we call home is a very

cruel place. People don’t care about your feelings, They just care about themselves and being

happy. We are all humans\ beings living in a ball floating in space. We are all welcomed and we

can’t push them away just because their differences. Discrimination is the worst kind of bullying

and people can become depressed and feel unworthy because of it.
