7 Wonders Duel Scott AI Solo Variant

The AI in this variant, we'll call him Scott, is stupid, but he cheats.

 Winning Conditions – The player can only win by amassing more points than Scott at the end of Age III.
Scott can win from Military Supremacy, Science Supremacy, or by having more points at the end of Age III.

 Set up - Find the "Architecture" token and give it to Scott, he can use it throughout the game, even for end-
game scoring. Randomly deal 4 wonders to yourself and Scott. Everything else is the same as in the
instructions.

 Gameplay - The player's turn is the same as in the rulebook and the player always goes first in each age.

o Scott's turn
1. Check to see if he has the resources to build one of his wonders (remember, he builds at a
reduced cost). If he can, Scott will take the bottom-most, left-most card from the card
structure and use it to build his wonder, collecting the appropriate reward. If Scott can build
more than one wonder, he builds the bottom-most wonder that turn & will build the second
wonder on the following turn.
 If Scott builds the Mausoleum, draw a card at random.
 If Scott builds a wonder that destroys a resource card, destroy the most recently
built card.
2. If Scott cannot build a wonder, he will take the bottom-most, left-most card from the card
structure and build it for no cost. If the building gets him gold, he takes it for end of game
scoring. If the building is the second, matching science symbol he's collected, Scott takes the
left-most bonus token.

 End game - Play continues until either Scott has won through Science/Military supremacy or Age III comes
to an end. Scoring is the same as in the rules.

 Variants to increase Scott's difficulty -

1. During setup deal him 1-3 random guild cards face down and at the end of the game, reveal the
card or cards and give Scott his ill-gotten gold and VP.
2. During setup deal him 1-3 random guild cards face down and replace that many guild cards in the
Age III deck with the standard cards you removed from the game. At the end of the game, reveal
the card or cards and give Scott his ill-gotten gold and VP.

 Note: Scott only uses resources on his wonders, all other buildings are free, costing no resources or gold
for him to build.
 Note: Scott never trades gold for resources, He’s too cheap.
 Note: Scott will use the resources from the yellow cards “Caravansary” and “Forum”, because they don’t
cost him anything.
